There is no doubt in my mind as to why this is an award winning AirBnb Experience. Alexandra took us on an intimate privileged tour of Amsterdam that made me see a very different and honest perspective of a city that I would have missed out on. She is trusted by locals and this respect was extended to us as her guest. She is warm, genuine and honest and is a credit to this fabulous city. Definitely need to dress warmly if done in winter but worth the cold and would highly recommend without a doubt!

My wife (then girlfriend) and I loved it, on so many levels. Not only was our tour guide and organiser Alexandra extremely friendly and knowledgeable, showing my wife (who is an Amsterdammer herself) hidden gems in a city she thought she already knew, Alexandra also was instrumental in helping me propose my wife in marriage. We first thoroughly enjoyed the normal tour-including amongst others: meeting coffee shop and trinket shop owners as well as eating the most delicious apple pie. That on its own was great fun, despite the weather being rather grim. The main portion was followed by me surprising my girlfriend by introducing HER to the rest of the tour group and relating some of her life story (she’s a born and bred Amsterdammer hence the relevance) in the most honest brewery of the Netherlands, all of which Alexandra kindly facilitated and helped me with. The brewery even played our songs whilst I told the story. I then went on one knee and proposed, and she said yes!! Best day ever! Thank you Alexandra for an unforgettable day, your help and kindness will forever be remembered by the both of us. And just this week, we got married with a zoom wedding, despite the corona times!

This tour with Alexandra is a MUST DO if you are in Amsterdam. It was so unique, and really gave you insight into how the people of the city live their daily lives. It was our favorite thing we did on our stay. We met some incredibly interesting locals on the tour, and visited great spots for views, pie, beer, etc. Alexandra was just beyond fantastic, with a lot of great recommendations for more to do in the city as well. This tour is 100% worth it - don’t miss it on your next trip!

The guided tour with Sinéad was really great. She showed us beautiful places and filled them with life with great stories, some of which were even personal. She also knows the city very well and was able to make recommendations for all tastes and wishes. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful tour. I've done alot of tours all over the world and this is one of my favorites. It isn't your typical history of the area tour. It's about discovering the vibe of Amsterdam, understanding what makes the city interesting and unique. There's a bit of interesting facts about the architecture, and the geography that are mixed in along the way. All of It's done as a way to teach you about the people and culture of Amsterdam. I highly recommend this tour!

We had a great walking tour, led by Sinead. She was so energetic and informative, the tour just flew by. I could have walked around with her all day.
She made she everyone could hear her and understand her at all times. Kept the group together and answered a wide variety of questions.

This is not an average walking tour. It’s a very beautiful story telling tour. A tour that explains the people of Amsterdam which makes your appreciate and see the city in a different light. Sinead is such a lovely person and even better storyteller.

We booked the "Hello Amsterdam Introduction Walking Tour" with our city card and it was great! One of the best we had in Europe. Sinead was wonderful and very engaging. She gave us just enough history and some great stories of the city. I would recommend the tour for anyone visiting Amsterdam and hope you have Sinead.

If you’re looking for a tour that shows you the real authentic Amsterdam this is it. We had a great time with Alexandra and our small group.
This was the best thing we did during our five day visit to Amsterdam. Alexandra gives a great tour where you learn about the true Amsterdam and meet some fascinating locals along the way. Highly recommend!
