Super cycling excursion, such great fun start to finish. Really cannot understate having a guide ( Martin ) showing us around without having to rush or consult a map. We cruised the trendy streets of the Joordan , saw the Anne Frank House, beautiful Amsterdam architecture on the Amstel river. Plus exceptional coffee & Dutch bakery treats !

A big thank you to Martin for taking my friends and I on a wonderful bike tour of this amazing city. We covered a lot of ground and discovered a lot about the history of Amsterdam, taking in a couple of beers, lunch in a really cool restaurant and an amazing 'ginger shot' along the way. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cycling tour to anyone. We did the 6 hour tour and anyone who is reasonably fit (even I managed it in my hungover state) will be more than capable of doing it!

A private, tailor made bike tour is definitely the way to go if you want to see Amsterdam and learn some interesting stuff! Martin was an excellent guide, full of knowledge and nuggets of interesting facts. I have a short attention span for information but this was perfect for me! This is a way better option than going on a generic tour with lots of people. He will organise the tour according to what you are interested in, and it's very personal. Highly recommended!! ( Ask to go for Apple pie!)

We recently had an amazing day cycling around Amsterdam with Fine Cycling Tours. Our guide Martin was very friendly and knowledgable about Amsterdam and it's history. He chose some great places to stop for drinks and lunch and even joined us for a beer at the end of the ride.
We all had a great day out!

Our small group had a fantastic time cycling through the gorgeous streets of Amsterdam. Martin, our guide, was friendly and very knowledgable of the great history of this city. We went at a very comfortable pace and seen so much in the 3 hour tour that would have otherwise taken a day or two to walk around (and definitely wouldn't have been as fun!!) Really was the highlight of my trip to Amsterdam and would highly recommend this amazing way to see the city!

With a group of 11 friends we had Martin as our tour guide for a full-day tour of the beautiful city of Amsterdam. Martin's narrative and knowledge of the city both from a historical and current perspective was great and the balance of riding, sightseeing and comfort breaks was just right. We had a fun day out and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see Amsterdam in one day.

My first time in Amsertdam and Martin showed me around some of the best places to see, eat and drink, as well as soms nice hidden spots! Topped it off with seeing a great comedy gig in the evening! Look forward to coming back again in future and another tour with Fine Cycling, and see what else there is in this amazing place! Thanks again, Kyle

Hi, I am planning for a trip to Amsterdam and London in October. Understand it is cold weather now. Will it be suitable for bike touring around in Amsterdam and London?

I believe so... It'll be a little fresh possibly, depending on what that day temperature is, so maybe a hat and gloves might be necessary.

Dear Carol, thanks for your inquiry. I would recommend either our Classic 3.5 hours bike tour, or our full day 'tailor-made' tour (6 hours) that are available at the moment.
Tours vary depending on start / finish point, however for sure we will cycle along the most peaceful and beautiful routes in the city visiting the cultural side of Amsterdam, revealing how the city was built, why the houses are leaning, exploring the glorious time of the Dutch 'Golden Age' / 17th century.
We will also show a snippet of how modern day Dutch life is, how Amsterdam is at the cutting edge of technology, shaping a 'new age', plus give you all the best tips for getting about, and which cafes and restaurants are prime spots.
From the 20th century we will pass the Anne Frank house to revisit her story and that of Amsterdam under occupation. At Vondel park there will be a bit of bird spotting as we calmly cycle through the lush green park.
Prices are €200 for 2 people for the Classic tour(3.5hrs), in which we start from where is easiest for your day, most people choose their hotel... Plus we finish where is easiest, sometimes people choose a lunch/drink spot. The Signature tour(6hrs) is €380 for 2 people where we define exactly the perfect plan for the day.
The bike hire is included in this price, which is a black city bike to blend in with the locals and your guide -which will be myself owner/guide, to help you through the city. If you have your own bikes already, then there is a €15 discount per bike per person.
I hope this helps, for more information you can contact Fine Cycling Amsterdam here, or find us online.
Looking forward to your response, warm regards, Martin
