My first time eating freshly made stroopwafels and it did not disappoint. I had mine dipped in chocolate with hazelnut bits which was so good! I wish we could've eaten stroopwafels from here everyday! Service was a bit slow but the place is tiny and...More

So we wanted to try some Dutch food and after some research, we realized the only food we would like might be desserts or French fries, which are not even traditionally Dutch, but huge in Amsterdam nonetheless. After dinner, we wandered over to van Wonderen...More

Ever since discovering the stroopwafel at our Costco and watching some food show episode, we've been very curious and interested in trying a freshly made stroopwafel straight from the source! What is a stroopwafel? A very thin waffle with caramel in the middle. Delicious treat!...More

The queues are long (and don't move very quickly) and they're quite expensive for what you get BUT they really exceeded my expectation - I had the M&M one and it was delicious. Worth trying while you're in Amsterdam!

Very inefficient business. The young ladies working had no urgency in making the orders, even with a line out the door. After waiting about 30 minutes for mine, I requested a box so I could carry them back to my hotel. The young lady refused...More

Hot melting Carmel, warm chocolate and any topping = drooling. There was no queues at 2pm. The last was friendly. The waffles were delicious.

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
