Amsterdam Excursions absolutely made our visit to the Netherlands. Every aspect of our small group day tour was a delight, from our initial meetup with our extremely friendly and helpful tour guide, Bram, to the endless tulips of the Keukenhof, all the way down to the samples we were offered during our drop-in to the local cheese shop. Where Amsterdam Excursions made our vacation, Bram made the excursion. From his first introduction to us and every other guest, he was friendly, patient, glad to make adjustments to the tour to accommodate any requests and showed a constant passion for the Netherlands that he shared with all of us. The tour was well put-together from the start, getting us to the Keukenhof well ahead of traffic and crowds that showed up later in the day and giving us plenty of time to enjoy the tulip fields while still leaving time for delightful visits at the windmills and the Willig cheese shop. Bram nonetheless improved this already-great tour marvelously, adding historical context, helpful tips and recommendations throughout that made it better at every turn. We particularly enjoyed his recommended detour to a small-village cafe in the afternoon, which provided a nice, quiet spot to rest our feet, have a drink and enjoy the village’s jousting clocktower. He even concluded the day with an invitation for all of us to his rock band’s next show! The logistics of the tour’s setup also catered to every convenience, from the van’s free wi-fi, bottled water, and available chargers for the wide variety of devices all of us lug around. Whether with Bram or another guide, we cannot recommend these tours highly enough.…

This place is exceptional and must see. This year theme was flower 💐 power of the 60s & 70s. Very good experience but lots of walking to be done. Different types of tulips was pleasure to see. This place is open 2 months in a year and good time to visit is in April. Amsterdam is known for its tulip beauty among other things.…

I took this tour to learn more about the typical Dutch things, such as windmills, wooden shoes and cheese, and I wasn't dissapointed! The guide Richard was very friendly and informative and gave us a lot of extra information about the Netherlands and Dutch culture as well. The tour itself is very complete and it is a very good option if you want to escape Amsterdam city life for a while and see some more of the Netherlands. Lots of photo oportunities, while walking through the villages and during free time at Zaanse Schans. Oh, and did I a mention the cheese tasting??? :)…

I cannot remember the driver’s name. He was good too. Special mention of Ingrid as without her this trip would have been incomplete. Thank you.…

After days of doing our thing went on a bus tour of Windmills, clogs and cheesemaking. We learnt a lot watching traditional tradesmen working. Be warned it's very crowded with many other tourist buses. Our guide Rick was passionate about Holland and really enjoys his work, he and driver Hans made the trip most enjoyable. Recommend way to see iconic Amsterdam. …
