Wonderful guide. Knowledgeable and personable. We really liked how he wove stories of Amsterdam and then showed us the related paintings in the Rijk Museum. This really added to our enjoyment of the tour. If you are looking for a guide in Amsterdam, you can’t go wrong in hiring Bart.

Bart provided me an extremely knowledgeable tour of the central Amsterdam area. He introduced me with stories of the rich history of Amsterdam and answered any and all my questions, from the simple to the obscure, and i walked away with a deeper understanding of the uniqueness that is Amsterdam. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Amsterdam for the first time or even those that want to learn more about its history to book some time to travel the streets with Bart. Thanks

This was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a tour guide. His knowledge of the area and inter-structure workings is mind blowing. In our 4 hour tour ( 2 driving and 2 walking) we saw and felt the area. The walking part of the tour through old Amsterdam was filled with little know facts about the area one would never find in a book. We would recommend Bart highly when in Amsterdam

On an unplanned business trip to Amsterdam, my colleague and I wanted to see some of the sites of Amsterdam and get a flavor of the history and culture. I reached out to Bart and he was communicative, low pressure and courteous. Booked a 4 hour walking tour including ending with time through the Rijksmuseum.
Highly recommended. He was organized, well informed, helpful and showed us so much. Thank you Bart!

Bart gave us a memorable three hours in Amsterdam. He’s very nice and incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history and how it has changed over the centuries.
Although we had done a lot of reading about the city before we arrived, Bart really made it come to life. We enthusiastically recommend taking a tour with him.

We spent 3 hours with Bart a few weeks ago. He has a great deal of knowledge of Amsterdams history and the ability to relate that knowledge - keeping it interesting and some with some humor. He was very easy to communicate with in booking and setting up the meeting point etc. we highly recommend his services.

We recently moved to Amsterdam and wanted to learn more about this magic city but definetely not from books. We decided to take a 2h walking tour around the city center.
We walked down the same areas we visited before but hearing the Bart's stories and explanations a new views opened.
It was informative, interesting, suprising, fun.
We heard about history, walked down the oldest streets, about present, culture and pride, economy, education, business, care about young and olderly people, about art and architectur.
It was a great experience which we will not only remember but also repeat.
As soon as the weather is nicer, and the lockdown measures removed we are looking forward to another walk or a boat ride with Bart.

We had a wonderful day with Bart. He picked us up at our hotel and drove out to Keukenhof Gardens to view the tulips in full bloom. It was spectacular and then we toured a few of the flower farms in the surrounding area. I can highly recommend his services, as he’s professional, prompt, knowledgeable and genuinely a nice person! I fully intend to call on him again and will recommend his guide service to friends. Thank you Bart!

We are so happy that we booked a tour with Bart! It was fabulous. He gave us a great range of historical, geographical, cultural information that we could remember and apply for the rest of our trip. A wonderful experience. Thank you Bart for the energetic, informative and personal walking tour around Amsterdam. Lived here for 3+ years and still learned so much. A great workout too with over 12k quick-moving steps!!! A great way to see the city, quickly and fully.
