Loved it. Safe and fun tour

The tour goes quite a way around the city and is well thought out. Groups are broken into languages per time slot, that was awesome! Group was maybe a bit big as there is a lot of traffic and people would get stuck at lights. Guide was informative and fun. Very casual tour, they're just straight on the bikes after... More

This was the perfect way to get aquatinted with the city and the bike rules. Our tour guide (Arthur) was really fun, kept our group together and knew a lot about the city. We had our 1.5yr old with us and they had a great bike for my husband to ride with him. Very happy with the company from the... More

This two-hour bike tour was a great way to see the sights. We visited Anne Frank's house, the Rijksmuseum and the Red Light District, and learned lots about the city and the locals. We also got to zoom about Vondel Park away from the traffic. Our tour guide, her nickname sounded like Boss, was really interesting and made sure no... More

And had miraculous sun. The guide was chipper and great and other people on the tour very nice too, from all over Europe. My young kids did not find the cycling hard and the bikes were fitted well. We learned a lot and had a great time. Definitely worth doing over just walking or biking by yourself

Do not miss this cycle tour when you visit Amsterdam. Our guide Bart was very informative and helpful. The cycles are well maintained and there is cycle for every member of the family. The tour starts near central and takes you around all the important places like museums,China town, vondel park,Jordan district.....

We pre-booked a 2 hour bike ride before visiting Amsterdam for NYE through a company called Get Your Guide. When we arrived, their shop was locked up. Admittedly it was on New Years Day but if you book and pay for something in advance, you expect the place to be open. So it's an avoid from me!

Dear RJM8760, Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that you booked a tour through the company Get Your Guide, but that they didn't inform you that we are closed on New Years Day. I will contact Get Your Guide and forward your complain. Maybe it's a good idea to place your review on their page, instead... More

I met up with my Dutch friend and she took me on this tour, and I just had such a great time! It was cold, rainy, and miserable weather, but that didn't stop the yellow bikes from shining brightly! The guide was hilarious, informative, and genuine, and she was happy to switch between English and Dutch (my friend and I... More

Two fantastic hours - the best way to see a lot of Amsterdam really quickly and, just like the Dutch do, from a bike. Rijn was a great tour-guide with an encyclopedic knowledge of the city and took great care not to lose any of his charges. My heart was in my mouth for the first 15 minutes or so... More

We visited Amsterdam in December and absolutely loved the yellow bike tour. Both me and my sister weren't super confident bike riders but felt very comfortable on the tour. The guide was super knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about the beautiful city and went at a very good pace. Would highly recommend, it was a highlight of our whole Europe trip!!

Me and my boyfriend decided to hire 2 bicycles whilst visiting Amsterdam. We found the guy in the shop extremely helpful. You can hire the bikes for various lengths of time, with or without theft insurance. We opted for 24hours with theft insurance. The bikes provided are bright yellow, so very easy to spot in a group of bikes chained... More

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
