Very nice and great tour! The guide showed us many places where you easily can come by bike.
The bike riding is also a great means of transport for Amsterdam, because they are everywhere. It was a little bit heavy traffic because of the great weather so you have to watch out for the trams and cars. And it’s very unique for a tour. The guide is friendly and had almost all the answers to our questions. We would recommend it to everyone and had a blast together.

We booked a private custom tour… we had four days with Peter and 1/2 day with Stan…
The communication and planning of the tours were super simple… Tony and Peter both are great with advice and ideas.
Peter is fantastic! So knowledgeable on the past and present of The Netherlands…and so up to date on all topics current - we enjoyed his imformative tours and just our chats while in the car or at lunch. He showed us SO much…. Yet seemed to keep us out of the super touristy places and always found a perfect spot for a coffee and/or lunch…
Definitely request Peter when doing private tours out from Amsterdam…. You won’t be disappointed. Super guide - I hated to say goodbye to him.
Stan loves Amsterdam…. And he is quite funny, too. He navigated us to all kinds of cool places and intrigued us with stories…. And he knows where to get the good cookies and also pick the perfect lunch spot…. Do the intro Amsterdam tour and ask for Stan!

Scarlet our tour guide was first class . Very informative about not only the Red Light district but the history of Amsterdam . Many stops on the tour so made it easier for the older and not so fit persons . A range of ages but Scarlet bought us all together . Would highly recommend this tour .

My bf and I took a private tour of the Red Light District, Chinatown, and of course the coffee shop culture of Amsterdam with Tony and had a blast! Learned a lot of background history, got a personal guided tour of the RLD, and even got to partake in the coffee shop madness!!! Tony was great and very patient with us as we took as many pictures and videos as we could. Sex museum option at the end is a fun experience - for adults. Thanks ,Tony!

We did the private day tour with Trigger Tours, visiting The Hague, Kinderdijk en Rotterdam. It was awesome to see the traditional political centre of the Hague, the heritage cultural windmills of Kinderdijk and then conclude the tour with the beautiful modern town Rotterdam with all its interesting buildings and bridges. Especially th Market Place, was impressing, where we had our diner. Our guide, Alexandra, was so kind, social and could answer all our questions. She was very flexible as well, if we wanted to stay some longer somewhere. Awesome tour and day!

My husband and I really enjoyed our tour with Alex. We got a nice overview and history of the Red Light District, complemented with three food tastings. The first one was some kind of meat on a stick with a fried coating (we chose Satay flavor -- delicious). The second was Dutch pancakes (can't remember the Dutch name for them but they were delicious). The third stop was seafood. Alex gave us a choice of herring, which we don't like, or deep fried cod, which was very good.

Alex was fun company, and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

We started with our group of 4 and 4 guys joined us. Towards the middle, all 4 men (not in our group) slowly started disappearing so we ended up with a private tour. Very informative with a nice guide. FYI depending on the time you book the streets could be crowded/ not crowded and if you are looking to participate and/or see many women in the windows like other members that joined our group were, there are off times for women and they may not be open. The later you go, the more women/people you will see in the windows.

The tour started in the red light district. You can’t actually stop and do a tour in the red light district, so we heard everything on the outskirts before heading in to see what our tour guide told us. Our guide was knowledgeable and added some fun anecdotes that made our time pass by quickly. We saw just one woman in a window, which was fine for us as we were with in-laws…

The second part of the tour took place in the green light district. This was a shorter part of the tour. We heard, again, fun anecdotes and the history of weed in Amsterdam - even some current news around it too! Then we had the option to go into a coffee house (or not). The tour ended with seeing some funny condoms and with restaurant recommendations.

Overall, we really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was clearly someone who enjoyed the history and made it fun and funny along the way. I feel like I understand more about Amsterdam and the history he told us has stuck with me. He personalized it for us once the other guys got pulled into different shows and windows. We would recommend this for anyone who wants to learn about these two significant and historical areas in Amsterdam.

This was my favorite tour in Amsterdam. Catherine was the sweetest and most informative tour guide in regards to the history of the region. She was very graceful and walked us through all the exciting stores, events and provided us with a fun detailed history of the region. It completely changed my perspective on how I view the the Light District! It opened my mind up and changed my perspective in a positive way with much appreciation for the culture. I recommend this tour as the top of everyone’s list.

We were a little intimidated by the red light district and the coffee shop culture when we first arrived. Tony walked us around and got us feeling much more comfortable. We discussed the history of the city and the red light district before showing us the different clubs and even showed us how to use the sex booth. We basically went in and saw what it was like and left. Best thing is that he works with you privately with your comfort. He helped us order in a coffee shop and sat with us for a minute as well. I’d recommend this tour to anyone at any comfort left. It’s nice to begin your visit with an insider. Also it’s cheaper if you book directly from trigger tours. Google it.

We took a tour with Cara in late November and absolutely loved it. She provided a ton of history about Amsterdam in general, and seamlessly wove the city's history in with the history of both marijuana legalization (or, tolerance, let's say) and the legalization of prostitution. I learned so much on this tour! It felt, as other folks have said, like walking with a friend you hadn't seen a while - totally relaxed and at your own pace and Cara was great at answering all of our questions. Definitely do this tour if you can!
