We arranged in advance for three private all-day tours to Keukenhof, to the Kröller-Müller, and to The Hague and Delft. Trigger Tours sent an experienced guide with a comfortable vehicle to pick us up at our hotel, take us to the venue, and return us at the end of the day. Each of the guides was very knowledgeable about Amsterdam and The Netherlands, and made the trips very enjoyable.

Very nice and great tour! The guide showed us many places where you easily can come by bike.
The bike riding is also a great means of transport for Amsterdam, because they are everywhere. It was a little bit heavy traffic because of the great weather so you have to watch out for the trams and cars. And it’s very unique for a tour. The guide is friendly and had almost all the answers to our questions. We would recommend it to everyone and had a blast together.

We booked a private custom tour… we had four days with Peter and 1/2 day with Stan…
The communication and planning of the tours were super simple… Tony and Peter both are great with advice and ideas.
Peter is fantastic! So knowledgeable on the past and present of The Netherlands…and so up to date on all topics current - we enjoyed his imformative tours and just our chats while in the car or at lunch. He showed us SO much…. Yet seemed to keep us out of the super touristy places and always found a perfect spot for a coffee and/or lunch…
Definitely request Peter when doing private tours out from Amsterdam…. You won’t be disappointed. Super guide - I hated to say goodbye to him.
Stan loves Amsterdam…. And he is quite funny, too. He navigated us to all kinds of cool places and intrigued us with stories…. And he knows where to get the good cookies and also pick the perfect lunch spot…. Do the intro Amsterdam tour and ask for Stan!

Scarlet our tour guide was first class . Very informative about not only the Red Light district but the history of Amsterdam . Many stops on the tour so made it easier for the older and not so fit persons . A range of ages but Scarlet bought us all together . Would highly recommend this tour .

It is an easy 15-20 minute walk from the Rotterdam Train Station to get here-- it is all level . An amazing building that houses separate apartments that appear to look like cubes all upside down- 38 of them. If you come here and the Museum is open, it is worth a quick self-guided tour to one of the apartments open- it is only 3 euros but they only accept cash.
It is incredible to see how the rooms are huge enough to house furniture as they are furnished to appear how everything fits into the room(s). Definitely an unusual looking building to visit.

We were visiting Amsterdam for several days in June and took a day trip tour to the quaint village of Giethoorn with Dutch Trips. It was a small organized mini-van pickup which was early by 15 minutes of announced time. The driver immediately handed us bottles of water. There were only seven of us in the van and another van. The ride down to Giethoorn took close to two hours time with a 15 min. break at a local village Aalsmeer where we visited a gift shop and there were public restrooms. In addition, the driver from the other van gave us a bit of history of the area .
Upon arrival, we were offered either a cup of tea /coffee along with a mini
stroopwaffel treat, then we were led to the docked whisper boat for a one hour narrated tour of Giethoorn ( a village with roads that are all in the water). It was an enjoyable boat cruise through the canal in the village where we saw brightly colored houses along bridges that connect the villages together.
After the boat tour, we were given some free time to visit the village of Giethoorn. It was nice to walk through the village of Giethoorn and enjoy the greenery, flowers, and many bridges that cross the canals. Some of the bridges were closed to pedestrian traffic as the residents did not want to be disturbed but overall, everyone was very tolerable
It is a real treat to be able to visit the village of Giethoorn as it is not easy to come via own public transportation from Amsterdam since it involves transfer of trains and they do not run that frequently.
Definitely worth a day trip if you have the time while visiting Amsterdam.

This is an amazing private tour. We were a little apprehensive about going to the Red light District but wanted to see it. This private tour with our own guide, Catherine, was wonderful.
She was great at educating us about the area, the Red Light District, the Coffee Shops and the culture.
I highly recommend this tour and this guide, Catherine.

A moving experience. I reread the book before we toured the house. Nothing like being in the physical space of the house to truly understand the Anne's diary.

We started with our group of 4 and 4 guys joined us. Towards the middle, all 4 men (not in our group) slowly started disappearing so we ended up with a private tour. Very informative with a nice guide. FYI depending on the time you book the streets could be crowded/ not crowded and if you are looking to participate and/or see many women in the windows like other members that joined our group were, there are off times for women and they may not be open. The later you go, the more women/people you will see in the windows.

The tour started in the red light district. You can’t actually stop and do a tour in the red light district, so we heard everything on the outskirts before heading in to see what our tour guide told us. Our guide was knowledgeable and added some fun anecdotes that made our time pass by quickly. We saw just one woman in a window, which was fine for us as we were with in-laws…

The second part of the tour took place in the green light district. This was a shorter part of the tour. We heard, again, fun anecdotes and the history of weed in Amsterdam - even some current news around it too! Then we had the option to go into a coffee house (or not). The tour ended with seeing some funny condoms and with restaurant recommendations.

Overall, we really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was clearly someone who enjoyed the history and made it fun and funny along the way. I feel like I understand more about Amsterdam and the history he told us has stuck with me. He personalized it for us once the other guys got pulled into different shows and windows. We would recommend this for anyone who wants to learn about these two significant and historical areas in Amsterdam.
