About
IMPORTANT, for 12 years we succeed to draw smile on more than million face who did pass by or stop by almost (95%) of our pieces are hand made-painted, we have 800 pieces third of them are Cow Parade (the world largest public art event, huge painted cows auctioned for charity),proud to be the only place in the world who have the entire collection, the other two third are 20-30 years old pieces and collected from all over the world (not for sale) we are the only place with all this, if you know another place who deserve our name we are glad to give it we have some exclusive limited edition pieces that's why we reached 12 (PLEASE DON'T TOUCH)signs, sadly people still do it daily and broke a few amazing beautiful pieces, we don't show information about cows life '(anatomy, history) the net full of them and some people may find them boring, our returning policy is GREAT (180DAYS) we love that you visit us (no entry fee),all what we ask you to respect our rules (no touch or photos) Thanks

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

I've been past this place 5-6 times before and always stopped to look at the window display. As I wanted a piece for my new home, I made a special trip there and spent time chatting with the owner Sam who is very knowledgable about the artworks. Recommended for a bit of shopping or visual experience.

My wife and I visited the cow Museum after seeing it on here, it is my 30th and we decided to look for the more interesting and unusual places to visit and it was fantastic! So much character and intrigue in a wonderful little shop.
The owner, Sam, is a lovely man who is very passionate about his collection. We ended up spending a great amount time discussing all the different unusual peices in his collection. If you are looking for something different to do, I would recommend checking out the Cow Museum and talking to Sam about the collection. We ended purchasing a pair of lovely cows of our own!

What a great little shop. So many great cow and elephant figurines. The service and backup is fantastic . If you are in Amsterdam,it’s worth a visit and I would be surprised if you don’t walk out with a cow or two and enjoy the experience. Well done Wasim, keep up the good work. Look forward to my new cows arriving.

I didn't realise they didn't allow photos. I snapped one and the staff yelled at me. How bloody rude is that. Spoiled the rest of my day. Cows look good but not worth going there to be yelled at.

This is a quirky little shop and museum located at Leliegracht that we recently visited while browsing the Ring Canals of Amsterdam. Opening hours 12 to 10pm daily.

Here you find an eclectic arrangement of Cow and other animal related items, some of which are for sale and others that are permanent items for viewing only.

Have a quick look if you like/collect cow items or simply want to spend a few minutes seeing what is on display at the Cow Museum in Amsterdam.

Expected a museum, instead found a small shop selling cow statues. This was a huge disappointment and waste of time.
Fine for someone wanting to collect trinkets or hoarders.

We bought a very colourful china pig here! This is a shop rather than a museum, I think you can get tickets to the museum though.

Very friendly staff, enjoyed chatting to them!

Terrible service, waited patiently and still received rude service. They lied and tried to say it was guaranteed to triple in value just to get a sale. The male staff member sighed when the asians in front asked about a different cow. I’d NEVER BUY FROM HERE because of the service. We all walked out and felt relieved that we didn’t contribute to keep this place alive. This staff member was a cow himself.

Don't leave Amsterdam w/o visiting this quaint little gem of a shop near ANNE FRANK's place, located at Leliegracht 4 1015 De Amsterda. We were greeted by WISAN - very accommodating & friendly. It was just very sad that while we were in the shop, a rude customer showed utter disrespect & wrote lies in his review below. Nevertheless, WISAN patiently answered all our queries & offered suggestions as to which COW would fit our taste. It was extremely helpful to know that I will be a proud owner of an affordable art piece. It's a unique remembrance of my wonderful experience in beautiful Armsterdam. I highly recommend to visit this shop & bring this COW ART back home.
