About
The largest Beatles museum in the world. You get to see the biggest Beatles collection collected by one person. With merchandise, LPs original clothes and gold albums. There is also a museum shop where your can score nice Beatles items. And we have a coffee corner where you can recover from the huge collection with a cup of coffee or tea.

Odd But Okay

I found it strange, a Beatles museum in Alkmaar. However, once you realize it's really one man's collection of memorabilia that clears up the context a bit. It's interesting, It's not big, and it's not expensive - but if you have time and particularly if it's raining, worth a visit.

A visit after 2015
Jun 2019 • Solo
This museum is unique and in 4 years they have moved to a new location with more space, also expanding to include now a section on Elvis Presley and Marlyn Monroe, though there are no connections. Lots of memorabilia including newspaper and magazines (antique) with boards and boards of pics and rows and rows of records. There are photo opportunities all over the place including a pic of Abbey Road. Excellent memories to carry home for an entry fee of 5 Euros per person (includes photography). Closing at 4:30 PM is a problem as late entrants have to rush through. The mementos are costly, but worth it.

The Beatles in Alkaar
Aug 2018 • Solo
Strange, a Beatles museum in Alkaar. But very interesting. If you want the complete story behind the only Beatles performance in the Netherlands, or the myth of Paul McCartney's death, just go there. It's not big, but that's what makes it great.

Entertaining way to spend an hour

It’s more of a memorabilia collection than a museum. It was 5 euros and has a bathroom (with the requisite request to pay .50 euros), so if it’s rainy or you’re in the area it’s nice to stop in.

What a gem, doesn’t look much from outside but wow it’s huge. Loads of Beatles stuff in a huge warehouse. Small cafe, gift shop and a big collection of vinyl,CD and books of all musical genres on sale. A must if you are in Alkmaar

Nostalgia at The Beatle Museum
Feb 2018 • Family
An intense collection od memorabilia and stories.Private museum that is not well laid out for communication and experience but there is enough of The Beetles to keep one busy for a few hours. One can but some memorabilia here.

Impressive museum
Jan 2018 • Family
A great and wide variety of Beatles items. Great tour. Golden records, all kind of collectors items such as pins, dolls, chairs, genuine contracts and photo's of theB Beatles, also misprints such as glasses with the wrong Beatle name. The museum director gave us a private tour, without any additional cost, as we were the first ones to arrive.

Loved it
Sep 2017 • Family
Loved visiting this museum but don't know if you'd be too keen if you aren't already a Beatles fan. But who doesn't love The Beatles??

We spent about an hour here and covered it all. From a UK perspective it was interesting to read about the visit to the Netherlands by the band and the timeline of the bands history was well done.

The only negative was the staff enjoying their fast food takeaway in the museum. I know they must eat but they could have been more discreet.

The tour is really worth the money. You basically walk through the history of the Beatles and get a real feeling about their life and struggles. You can listen to it in all languages and even if you are not a fan you'll definitely love it!
