So it speaks much about our experience. For those who are wondering whether to choose this or Efteling’s other vacation park Bosrijk, I say it depends on the age of your kids. Mine (both under 10) loved to play with the sand and water play area. Bosrijk doesn’t have that. Bosrijk does have a pool though which guests in Loonsche Land cannot access. Bosrijk is prettier, and more fairy tale-like with very serene houses on the lake but didn’t have many play areas for kids. Also if you are worried about the walk to park entrance, the path goes through a nice wooded area and before you know it, we were there. And we didn’t take 15mins, more like 10mins. Our hut type was lined up right next to the water/sand play area (there are 2 of these) and so this is the best choice for you if you want to keep an eye on your kids.

I cannot recommend this hotel and the park enough. Our room was lovely and, most importantly, not hot with windows that actually let in air. Breakfast was excellent - so much choice and excellent quality.

The park has a fantastic range of rides and the light display in the evening is wonderful. Three days was too much for us and we were shattered.

In terms of value it's so much cheaper than "that theme park in Paris"..

We stayed here in May 23rd -26th and had a ball. The family room is fairly tight for five (403) and more storage would have been nice but beds were comfortable and our girls loved the bunkbeds...not a room you would rush back to relax in and our view was a bit meh but adequate for tired heads at the end of a hectic fun filled day. It is walkable distance to the park (beautiful woodland) or there is a train...when we visited the train was not in action but there was a bus..(as I said in my review of the actual park there is a LOT of walking so a bus ride back to the hotel is appreciated!)...The food is great, breakfast was fantastic in a lovely dining space (you are given time choices so no hectic queuing at the toaster!!) and the hardworking staff could not be better. Big shout out to Beau who made our stay so special and is a real asset to the place.
There are other options besides the hotel some fantastic looking holiday homes dotted around the reserve and a little play park and some animals to meet...It was so relaxed, safe....and as I said in my other contribution about the park the show Caro is a must of an evening..Spectacular...highly recommend.....also there is a special entrance for residents and access to the park 30 minutes earlier...life is made easier! We will rush back in a heart beat. LOVED every minute. Just go!

Walking distance from the entrance. They also organise a shuttle bus to the entrance but that one only runs a couple of times a day and can get very full. But no problem, even with a 4 year old we walked to the entrance, it is really not far.
Just next to the hotel there is a big parking lot for hotel guests. Very convenient.
The hotel itself then: very friendly service. The rooms are clean. We had a room for 5. it is a bit tight when you are really 5 person.
Breakfast was nice. No decaf coffee and omelet though. Great donuts, very nice selection of freshly baked bread.
We also used the restaurant of the hotel in the evening. Choice on the menu was very limited. We all had the chicken which was just ok but nothing more than that. I would recommend the burger (saw it on our neighbours plate). Restaurant has a nice playing corner for the kids. Service was very friendly in the restaurant. Food came quickly.

The new Loonsche land hotel is really nice. We had a room for 5 with a double bed, single bed and 2 bunk beds that the children loved. The location isn’t too far from the park, across the car park and the woods and you are there. The shuttle bus stop is about 50m from the hotel.
We also had our dinner at the hotel which was delicious, nice choice of food for very reasonable price.
The breakfast was superb, so much choice of great food.

We stayed in one of the little cottages for two days as we visited the Efteling amusement park. The cottage was well furnished, comfortable and well maintained. The cottages are within walking distance of the amusement park and there is a central restaurant that serves a great breakfast (fantastic quality) and the dinner is also of top notch quality. We had a great weekend here and will return again!

I stayed in a family room in August 2018. The room was clean, spacious enough and the beds were super comfy. The ensuite was also very nice, a little dated maybe but for one night it didn't really matter. The breakfast was absolutely brilliant, there was so many options and everything was prepared and cooked well. I had fried eggs on toast and a scone, with plenty of orange juice. The staff were lovely and the outside of the hotel is really nice. There is a train to the parks just outside which is great. It's cheaper than the efteling hotel so I couldn't recommend this any more.

I stayed at this lovely hotel recently with my daughter and her young family . It is set in beautiful woodland near a small lake and surrounded by little rustic cottages which can be rented for larger groups I believe. The check in process was easy and there is a secure luggage room if the accomodation was not quite ready. The staff were all very friendly and most spoke some English . Our room was large and consisted of a double bed with bunk beds above and a separate bedroom with another double bed . There was a modern shower room and a separate toilet. There was also a table and chairs and hanging space and a wardrobe.
The hotel itself is of a very good standard and has an open plan bar/dining room/reception area giving the impression of light and space . There is also a small children's play area just outside the main entrance near an outside terrace where drinks and snacks could be taken in the nicer weather .
Our breakfasts were amazing and there was something for everyone including my rather picky grandchildren. There was a hot counter with eggs and bacon or scrambled eggs and also a continental table with various cold meats and cheeses together with fruits, cereals and Yoghurts. There was a vast selection of different fresh breads and rolls and spreads like Nutella .
Having enjoyed a good breakfast we didn't need to keep stopping to eat after we arrived in the park.
It was a short walk through the woods along a well
defined path to the park entrance at Efteling and guests at the hotel were able to gain access half an hour earlier to enjoy some rides before the crowds.
There was also a little train that was free of charge and ran regularly between the hotel and the main entrance to the park.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning soon.

Efteling in itself is magical and this hotel, arriving to it, brings you directly to the same sphere. It is not too long walk away and part of that walk can be done with a "shuttle train" that goes part of the year. The hotel is neat and cozy, the service is impeccable. The breakfast was for us was not what we were expecting having to staid at the Efteling hotel before but we could get satisfied.
