I have autism and I love this park! It’s great for people with disabilities, people say the staff is rude, but they’re the nicest people on the world. I cannot forget how they made me from a shy, introvert person to a shining star, ready to take on this harsh world! I first was suicidal, but there was hope in this magic place for me... I escape reality in the Efteling. That’s all what a kid with autism needs. People complain about how bad those staff is to autistic kids, but that’s all nonsense. The Efteling is my life, I’m planning to work there.

I advise families with children with disabilities, namely with autism not to visit this park or to do some research before doing so. A very unpleasant incident largely covered in the belgian press happened to friends of mine and finished with court proceedings and two traumatized children.

This was my second visit at this place and unfortunately the last one. I was waiting for this visit a long time, but... with COVID, all the magic has gone :( First of all, this time staff was unpleasant, far away from my firs experience. The worst staff ever was at the panecakes restaurant Polles Keuken. Specially the big man at the entrance and the black lady were even rude. They was teching younger staff instead of serving food for more than one hour. They just stopped the service and did not answer any questions of people at the tables! In terms of attractions, the worst desilusion was the Revelejin show. It was very, very short and without a dragon, it has no sense at all! The park was just ugly with a lot of toi-toi tolilets, signs "Entrance" etc. written without any style. The queques were too long and had nothing in common with a time shown in the boards. I thought that the Pakt would put some money and imagination into all that but it was done like in a supermarket. Above all, one day they closed many attractions like Van Laaf ride, boats, trein "because of the rain". When the rain stopped - many hours before the closing time, the staff did not open the attractions back.

Nice clean park. All the family had fun and enjoyed the day .A much calmer park than other major European parks, feels safer too. Would definitely return . The only drawback would have preferred if more signs, story telling etc were in English.
