For children less than 10 years old this is a perfect playground to haven fun, especially during the summer. In it's surroundings is a children's farms with sheep, goats, chickens and such. It has been build at the corner of a city's park so much green space and fields are in the area. Be aware that parking is not so evident near this playground, again during the summer seasonl

This is a wonderful site with 6 different playgrounds. We spend there about 3 hours with our 5 years old Kids. They loved this place. The employees take care on the site - at least this is what you feel when you are there.

We were keen to visit somewhere not far from where we were staying and Speelpark was recommended to us, we were looking for somewhere the kids could play for an hour or two, we could've easily spent the whole day here without the kids getting bored! There was plenty of parking available on the road outside and we were overwhelmed with the variety of activities available within the park. We knew there was a couple of play areas (which was the reason for going) but found a paddling pool, wet play area, petting zoo and outdoor lego play amongst, I'm sure that there is even more that we didn't get a chance to explore. We did notice some free organised activities on (such as den building and lego play) but the kids were happy exploring so we didn't take part. The cafe was reasonably priced and the picnic tables had shelter so we were able to keep out of the short rain showers. Just make sure that you don't wear open shoes in the petting area as the pigs like to have a nibble at your toes!

I already came here when I was a child myself, So I saw it change over the years, always looked forward to go here, as it is just an awesome place for kids. Lots to do, for the littlest toddlers to teenagers, children won't get bored here. In the summer there's a swimmingpool, which is totally safe, they even have some animals you can get close to. There are toilets, and you can get something to drink and to eat, the park is free, so don't hesitate to go to the Splinter!
