Visited this church in our first couple of days in Eindhoven. Considering that I am a Christian Orthodox I was truly amazed with this Catholic Church Beauty

In the middle of Eindhoven
Aug 2020
Located right in the middle at one end of the Stratumseinde where there are many bars; Kerkstraat for its many restaurants; the shopping street; and the Heuvel Gallerie. So it is a great landmark for orienting when in Eindhoven.

I noticed a nice park bench on the one side of the church. Based on its usage, it has to be a great place to sleep. I found it O.K. (See photo). Give it a try.

Skeletal remains

On Catharinaplein is this historic Church with fine craftsmanship features and including a view of remnant crypts and skeletons. Very impressive spires and located next to many good cafés and restaurants. Recommended.

Stunning and interesting
Feb 2020
We had a few hours to kill in Eindhoven and with a train to catch we didnt want to leave the city centre. At 9am there was a lot not open yet (a Friday, a lot of stuff was opening at 10am) and saw the spires of the Cathedral when having a mint tea (with honey, try it!) so thought we would visit.

This place is beautiful with beautiful paintings and stained glass. It also includes history which is really interesting. On display are excavated items with descriptions in English and Dutch, which are fascinating, especially the reconstructed child! Also old architectural drawings of the building.

Worth a visit.

Nice church. Skeletons on display.

Its is an old church but has been reconstructed many times on the same site. The remains of medieval plague victims are on display, under glass, at the front of the building.

Amazing city!
Aug 2019 • Couples
We had been here to spend the day and it had been a really good option, comercial centre, pubs, restaurants, shops, good ambient, etc, “Sunday”.
I like the city and everything is close, you can walk if you park the car a lil bit far, because other wise you have to pay, but it was very easy to find it again. I recommend to go to this lovely city, me too , I will come back...

Worth a visit to see the stained glass windows
Nov 2019
We were recommended to visit this church to see the windows. Wow! We were certainly not disappointed! These post-WWII stained glass windows are really beautiful works of art.

Impressive
Oct 2019 • Family
I visited this church with my family. I was impressed with both her story, the size, the acoustics and the very complicated details of interior and exterior architecture. Since it is right in the center, you have no reason to miss, and no reason to do so. It is a piece of the history of the city and is worth a visit. Free entry.

We stayed at Eindhoven at Boutique hotel lumeire 4th floor penthouse no. 411 and our apartment was facing Sint Catharinakerk so many times we enjoyed hearing the bell each one hour day and night so we decided to visit it just 4 minutes walk from our hotel at 6 pm but sadly was closed
The building is very old more than 200 years but they do renovations after war world 2
Happy to see this magnificent design
