Not your typical museum, certainly not for a painter. But Jheronimus was not just a painter and deserves something special, like this art centre. It's kind of weird to have this place (note, it is not called museum, as there are actually no paintings displayed of the great artist) in which replicas of his work are displayed. But because they are replicas, you can actually touch them and look at them very closely to find details for which he was famous. Very helpful guide is handed out so that you get a good insight/background in the works of this unique artist. Highly recommended.

My wife and I visited this lovely little museum in November. We are both big fans of Bosch and this place was a delight. The museum features reproductions of his work with an explanation about the detail in the handbook provided with the admission fee. If you aren’t a fan of Bosch there is little to draw you here but if you are it’s well worth a visit to see (albeit reproductions) of his works in the town where he lived and worked. It’s about an hours train ride from Amsterdam but well worth the journey.

Loved it here. Not that expensive to get in and you are given a fab little booklet full of info about all of the paintings on display. Yes, they are all copies but so what? You get a great feel for this man and how ahead of his time he was. His imagination must have been incredible. We asked a member of staff some questions and he was fabulous. His knowledge was very deep and only matched but his perfect English! The building is also amazing - a church built in 1907 so plenty to admire there too.

We knew that all paintings were copies, so no disappointment here! Very friendly welcome, beautiful building/church! Our daughter really enjoyed the kids activity and even succeeded to get it all right! It was a very fun way to discover the museum! The astronomical clock was very nice too, yes this is also a reproduction, but still, this must have been something back in the day! Took the lift all the way up to enjoy the panorama, sad that you can't go outside, but the view was worth it! We truly enjoyed our visit!!!

It was my first bigger experience with this Painter. I do fully agree with @efth_mis review and I want to see more H.Boschs' artworks in real size indeed. It means to travel all around the Europe or to wait for another big expo, where the originals are gathered to one place.
