Nice building, great lay-out and friendly service. We discovered the paintings of an innovative painter (Jan Sluyters) in the same league as van Dongen, Van Gogh, Matisse and others.

Several exhibitions were running in the "Noordbrabants Museum". Some of them I could take or leave; I have little affinity with modern art and the cartoonist Kamagurka leaves me cold, but the exhibition on the first floor of the history of Noord Brabant hit the...More

The museum is not huge but the collection is presented well. There is also a part where you can see more about the history of the city / province which was quite interesting if you are not from the area.

This shares a building with the modern art museum. The permanent collection has items worth seeing. The special exhibition on Chinese art that we saw was excellent. Also has a good café.

The Noordbrabants Museum has frequently new expositions. Very interesting. Often contemporary. It’s located in the center of town in a beautiful historic building. Check their website for expositions!

Had a great time there with all the excellently renovated and themed rooms. Few big names, but their art is highest quality and presentation nonetheless. Great for adults and kids alike, though the kiddy stuff is in Dutch.

They are opening evening shifts, see internet or call the museum. Don't forget to climb the cathedral roof. You need tickets also. Good luck Gert
