I happened across MOTI on my first visit to Breda and had no idea what to expect. I had seen the original Garden of Earthly Delights and so was intrigued when I heard that four Dutch artists and created contemporary installations of this work. It was well worth the visit! The museum offers English booklets to help explain what's there... More

Fantastic exhibit featuring four Dutch contemporary artists. Thoughtful and provocative. Their permanent collection has a focus on digital media which is very interesting.

We did enjoy our visit. We were welcomed warmly and enthusiastically on entrance and given an explanation of what we were to see. The trouble was that with no English in the curation it became almost completely incomprehensible and bordering on the wacky. We simply failed to see the point of a series of mannequins dressed in black viewing a... More

Great art, beautiful building. But take your time, like a whole afternoon. Easy to reach by foot from Breda station if you do not mind a 5-10 minute walk. Or get in a bus that stops at 'Vlaszak'.

A museum with a difference, focussing on the modern and ever-changing. Great free literature available in English to accompany the exhibits. I was so inspired I hope to create a collage on the my experience - as a type time capsule for my home. I predict this museum only to grow as we became more visual and photographic. I find... More

I made a trip to Breda to see what MOTI was like, as it often pops up as having interesting shows on design blogs. This a small dutch city sandwiched between three bigger ones and it is easy to get to by train. I was struck by how small it was when i first arrived. The museum was modern and... More

As a graphic designer, I expected this museum to be a very specialized institution, giving a good overview of the history of (Dutch) graphic design which is marvelous hut in fact, this is a gallery showcasing newest trends and not the museum at all. So don't expect lots if old posters and book covers, no typography, no branding. If however... More

A very nice museum doesn't distance you even you probably don't feel that arty or talented. Very easy to tour around inside.

MOTI Museum is a fine piece of modern art. Last time I went there they had a collection of bags painted all over in different styles. If you like modern art this is a must-visit.

In this museum, you will experience how we will see and treat art in the future. Where do we rank internet art for instance? Logical structure of the various exhibitions. The oculus rift glasses were pretty amazing. Friendly personnel, nice café. Will take you about two to three hours to visit.
