This church is eye catcher of the city, seen from miles away and kept in a wonderful state. Every time I come home I enjoy the view of the church coming into my vision. Visiting the church I have only been able to-do once is it has been closed for a long time to be public. It was a pleasure... More

teh 15th century church is a must if you are in Breda for its;s splendour outside and inside. For every citizen the beautifull tower in regional Gothic style as the church, is the symbol of the town. If possible take the tour to climb the tower and the behind the bars tours, amazing.

We were astonished by the beauty of the church both inside and outside. What a phenomenal building! Worth to pay a visit to!

Due to the reformation, not a lot of the paintings have been preserved, but it is still a church of outstanding interest, historically

A must visit when in Breda. This building can be seen from every direction from kilometres away and has an interior which meets the impressive exterior. The church also plays a significant role in the Dutch royal family, which gives the visit an extra dimension

This is a great big church in the heart of Breda. You can see the tower of the church from way in the distance. It is a real landmark. The inside has beautiful high ceilings, pillars, windows and chandeliers. Worth a visit! Look into the possibility to climb up the tower too. Normally available only on Saturdays at 1pm. Be... More

This city is in the Netherlands and Bgium. It is possible to cross the border. Some houses and restaurants stand in both countries. You can see a beautiful church and Het Sanjaardsgat ( a sort of gate of a castle).

A great respite from walking tour in Breda. Lots of history to see and much to learn. In the process of upgrading, so some of the faded artwork on the walls is being renewed.

Wasn't what I was expecting. But still impressive architecture. Not having any buildings older than 200 years in Australia it's fascinating to see such an amazing structures and to contemplate how they built them and how long it would have taken.
