As everyone I had great expectation because of all social media attention and word of mouth. I had a terrible experience, really not worse for the price. It was very boring, just hanging around from one floor to another and nothing much to do. Their website mentions that English speaker also have fun: well really not! The fact of not understand people around made me pass away various clues. The dynamic of the game is really not there. Great thing was to actually visit the prison, that's all.

You've seen Shawshank Redemption, Escape, The Wire...or any other prison movie? You've always wanted to play a role like that? Well, here is you chance. You can be the scary mouse or the biggest thug (no physical stuff - keep it pleasant folks). The actors/organizers are well-capable of dealing with the story you make for yourself. Use the character you create for yourself to interact with inmates (players and actors), guards, social worker...find and listen to clues...and get out! Best of luck, but more importantly: immerse yourself and have fun!

What a great impressive experience! And what a support I got during the experience being French (I do speak English) and with my timid daughter (21) with an anxiety disorder. People told me on beforehand, one could get help not speaking any Dutch! So in the beginning of the event I asked them if I could stay together with my daughter and they positively confirmed. We discreetly got an indication that we wanted to stay as buddy’s together and even that we were English spoken. I was surprised that most of the guards did speak English although the event itself of course was in Dutch. They were very helpful and we “escaped” together and had the feeling we were in a real prison film. We loved it and my daughter put me to tears when after the event she said: “Thanks dad….” “You made my day….” “It was the first time I was in a crowd of people and felt safe and comfortable”! What an experience! One huge WOW for the actors, the story-line and the organization!

Alright, I have made my research before going there and it said everywhere that being not Dutch is no problem and the actors would change their language. I was wrong. In the beginning you have no chance to say you're English they will continue in Dutch, and I understood nothing. Second of all, if you are dealing with an anxiety disorder or you are mentally not able to socialize good, don't go at all. My girlfriend and a friend of mine were really anxious at the beginning, they asked if they could be together. The first person said, sure. After they were separated. We expected NOT an escape room because we read a lot about going there so that was not it. For someone who is very social, is not dealing with mental health issues and is dutch, very nice. Other than that unfortunately not.

Me and two friends did this experience. We found it awesome. We got sepersted and got locked up with strangers. All of us got out with the strangers in our cel. We occasionally saw each other never had the desire to escape together. After we had so much to tell each other cause everyone had a different escape story! Loved it 10/10 reccomend. Amazing actors and very professionally done. If it wasn't that far to drive (2+ hours) from our hometown we would come back very soon!
