Cuypers was a master architect and responsible for many well-known buildings in the Netherlands. The museum is located in the former residence and studio of himself. In the Cuypershuis in Roermond you can get a lot of information about his working method. There is some furniture and many ornaments inside and outside ( covered area). There is also modern art collection in the museum. It is worth visit if you like his work.…

We were just in Limburg and decided to make a quick stop at this museum and see the city around. Is a small museum, dedicated to the famous Cuyper architect (and all his family work and heritage) on a house they owned. Is a nice one, worth for a visit, gentle staff. Maybe not much to see inside, but a few activities well worth, my little daughters also enjoyed the game to find different spots at the museum. Again, if you like Cuyper´s work, is a must. Downside: all is in dutch, so unless you can understand the language, you may get loss a bit there...…

This man was unique for his time in developing buildings. His most beautiful building is "Ter Haar Castle". He also developed the "Main train station" and the "Rijksmuseum" in Amsterdam.
