The workshop was a lot of fun for us (4 girls on a hen weekend). We were greeted warmly and had a short reception before getting to work. Each participant gets a chance to "make" chocolate and there is plenty to try/eat. By the end of the workshop, our group had made several kinds of treats that we could take with us. Arnout, the chocolatier, is very warm, patient, and easy to communicate with. He speaks and writes English very well so don't worry about that. The chocolate "factory" is more of a kitchen so it's a comfortable environment (i.e., not noisy and industrial). The group has to agree on the light/darkness of the chocolate so be prepared to specify that.

My family took a day trip to Maastricht and decided to take Arnout’s chocolate making class. He provided insightful background on the chocolate making process and each member of my family was able to practice making chocolate first-hand. He is a wonderful instructor, speaks perfect English and has a great sense of humor. Not only did I have a great experience but I now feel like I can make chocolate on my own. Definitely recommend this class - thanks for a wonderful afternoon Arnout!

We were introduced to Arnout & his wonderful chocolate factory from some native NL friends just before the Christmas holiday - we bought so many different kinds as both gifts and for ourselves. All of the flavors were so unique and delicious - this chocolate is our new favorite!

Arnout took us on a tour of the chocolate factory and gave us a tasting of the chocolate. We left with about 10 boxes and I haven’t been able to eat any other chocolate after eating the pure mocha (ethopian coffee) chocolate!

Dear Christine,
Thank you very much for your message. We're not a shop, if you want to buy our chocolate please take a look at our website for the addresses and the webshop. World's smallest chocolate factory is the production area and it is here that we give the workshops. Thanks again, best regards,
Arnout
