Excellent for filmlovers because you can really concentrate on the film as there is no eating and drinking in the room - yeah -but no worries, enough comfy tables outside to enjoy a drink before or after the film!Excellent sound quality, films in the original version, lovely building, good wine...

The Lumber cinema is a wonderful small venue showing mainly art house, international and special feature films. It has unique screenings that Maastricht locals look out for and screens a lot in English. A great little facility with a nice small bar the only disappointment is being unable to take your drinks into the Theatre with you. Having said this,... More

Very comfortable art house cinema supported by volunteers and featuring many English language movies or those with English subtitles. Great on a wet day!

Nice place to spend an evening. See a quality arthouse movie and have a nice drink before and afterwards. Relaxed atmosphere. Very reasonable priced. They move to a bigger location in 2016. Leave your car outside the direct centre of Maestricht.

Some cinemas you go to because there is something you want to watch. But with Lumiere it is the other way around. Whenever you feel like watching a movie, you go to Lumiere because there is always something to watch. The quality of the movies is generally very high, even the more experimental ones. The films change regularly, there are... More

It's whole atmosphere talks for something more artistic. My favourite hall is the one on the top floor with just about 30 seats, low ceiling, it feels like there is a home cinema... More

this is a friendly and cosy cinema; I even enjoy the fact that they do not allow food or drinks into the room so no disturbance whatsoever; the movie selections are great: alternative movies but also some great latest appearances; all of this coupled with great prices - on Monday it is only 6EUR on other occasions it is 8EUR!...
