A lovely place to visit and is filled with history! One of the oldest churches around with many secrets and tombs. The place is very well maintained and the inner courtyard is a lovely place to get away from the hectic city.

Very charming little church a little dark. The good thing is that it is open until late, always open. I do not think they do any service though, but is worth visiting.

Beautiful church and the surroundings are also amazing. Nice square or Plein in dutch with bars to sit and enjoy the peacefulness of the area. Back to the church, quite dark inside but gives you a sense of how it was back in the dayd

You really must have a look at this place. The candlelit chapel on the way in is quite spectacular and the interior of the church is just lovely. It won't be a long visit but very much worthwhile.

This beautiful church, built mainly in romanesque style is great to visit together with the other churches in the city, such as the basilica of St. Servatius. Its built mainly in a style prior to that of the other churches you can easily see the changes in architecture.

In the southern part of the town at a nice place with a lot of restaurants and shops around you find this church. The impressive thing is the statue of the virgin mary near the entrance which is lit by hundreds of candles lit for prayers. Actually so many it gets really warm in this area. The Madonna itself is... More
