We are very pleased to read that you had such a good time with us ! Thank you very much for your excellent review and for recommending our sunShuttle.
With kind regards,
Totally recommend this tour. Takes you into the historic streets that a bigger bus couldn't reach. Goes at a user-friendly pace, and the commentary is helpful. informative and audible. A must do for any visit to this beautiful city.

Hi 311shi,We had taken "solar powered train" ,which takes you around the places mainly in city centre. It is not a "hop on hop off" We then did a few places we liked by walk. This is available after crossing the Maas river, and is almost 1 km walk from the railway station.
We did the caves by Public transport bus, from city centre, The bus starts from the railway station before coming to city centre.,It is advisable to buy "OVChipcard" for bus travel, which works for train travel as well & all over Netherlands.
While searching for Maastricht before our visit,I had seen on the internet a site called" stiphout",which talks of sightseeing buses &boat tours. Since you have aged people with you,you may like to examine this option.
