This library, theatre, cultural center and heritage center is certainly wordt visiting. It is an intriguing building, the glass panels giving it an airy impression. Quite a contrast with many of the old cathedrals and churches nearby!

This is the main cultural center of Maastricht. Along with a library, there are also exposition and event spaces, cafeteria for visitors and so on. Is not a bad place by itself but the program I find it a bit ridiculous. In the afternoon when people finish with work and are free it is closed. Such a space should be open until 22:00 or 23:00.

This place has events from time to time, but mostly remains an unattractive building. The three times we walked past it, we weren't even tempted to go inside.

Surprisingly small amount of books in the library section, however, the exhibitions that are held in the building are always worth visiting.

Some awesome views into the old town and a great place to watch the barges ploughing up and down the river.

Stopped by the library and got more than I expected. The library had an exhibition about the "Stumbling Stones" in Maastricht. The stones are located throughout Maastricht in front of the homes of people who were persecuted by the Nazi.

Invited my consultants for dinner and our reservation was made during the afternoon. Staff was very busy and the problems too big tables so kitchen was busy.
Food was good but services not up to good standards and the big miss came OK n the end when no credit cards could be used due to failure of technology. Had to walk out and find a catch machine and at least I would have expected a drink on the house to make u opp for the inconvenience.

Centre Ceramique is in the heart of Wyck and home to Maastricht's city library. There is also a cafe and they have an exhibition area where (free of charge) exhibitions are on display all through the year. We recently paid a visit to the World Press Pictures exhibition, an annual event. There is also a permanent ceramics exhibition to inform visitors of Maastricht's rich pottery heritage. Centre Ceramique is within walking distance of the Hoge Brug (one of the city bridges) with easy access to Maastricht's old town.
