I have been here a couple of times with friends, just to work and use their WIFI. The location is convienent, and it's nice to cross the bridge and to have a connection with the old & new Maastricht.

Stopped by the library and got more than I expected. The library had an exhibition about the "Stumbling Stones" in Maastricht. The stones are located throughout Maastricht in front of the homes of people who were persecuted by the Nazi.

This is an excellent library in Maastricht, set on a lovely square beside the River Maas. The building is modern and welcoming, and feels warm and cosy inside. There is a café in the library, and plenty more nice ones around the square as well, which is all pedestrianised (including bikes of course- this is the Netherlands). I enjoyed being... More

It is truly a nice center. A library, cafes, shops, outdoor sitting, outdoor cafes, entrance to the Hoge Brug (bike/foot bridge) and a nice view of the River Maas. I was lucky to be entertained once or twice by outdoor performances by musical groups.
