Very nice theater. Clear layout, nice venue halls. Not too big. Clean. We were here for a kids concert and will definitely come again.

In Orpheus there are various perfomances/concerts/plays etc. There is a restaurant where you can enjoy a special dinner.

Nice theatre very well organised, I could book a buy the ticket online even if I don't live in Apeldoorn, I am not Dutch and I don't speak Dutch. I have to admit that the English version of the web page would be highly appreciated. The theatre is very nice well organised and all the necessary services are provided.

Apeldoorn being one of the bigger municipalities of the Netherlands, hosts a very
nice theater called "Orpheus" with three different performance-halls under one roof.
Interesting to know that some "theater tours" start their series in Apeldoorn probably
because the city has a great variety of population from different origin.
A pity is that the parking garage is not connected to the main building structure hence
with bad weather, you need to prepare yourself for a cold or wet sprint to the main entrance.
Excellent performance areas, good serviced bar facilities.

I'm back in the Netherlands and I went to see a comedian in this theatre, i 've been here many times before too... As my parents live in Apeldoorn I have seen musicals, Opera and comedy here... It is a good theatre, but there are so many of those in the Netherlands... it can be compared to the one in Almere (to just name one).
You have good visibility from all sides, the acoustics are good too and the seats are comfortable... So nothing to complaint about. It is just not very special, not an attraction to go to unless you stay in Apeldoorn and look for something to go to at night. It is the best venue for classic concerts, opera, ballet and other performances, so if you are here as a tourist check out their website in case you are looking for something, but it has a lot of things in Dutch, so not all is for tourists, it is more for the locals.
As mentioned, nice to go to if you happen to find something interesting on their website, but not a must see or visit as it is like many others of it's kind in the Netherlands.

Since the renovation a couple of years ago, Orpheus theatre in Apeldoorn has proved to be a wonderfull theatre with a nice selection of programs for a broad audience. Programming ranges from opera to musicals, comedy and dance.
