The palace is a very nice place with beautiful gardens. I mostly liked the gardens but I didn't like that you needed to pay to go to the roof. I brought to the palace walking shoes, camera, water, food and money. I recommend that it will be an event for 2-3 hours.

With your ticket you receive a very nice information guide for your personal tour of the palace and its grounds. There is an audio guide for an additional charge. The gardens are similar to 17th century gardens and Queen's Garden had a leaf passage so the Queen could walk without being exposed to the sun. Do not miss the Shell... More

Great 2 hour visit. We parked in the lot and used the shuttle to get to the main palace. Had lunch in the cafe - delicious! Then a tour of the palace and gardens - definitely comparable to other great european palaces and such ornate decorations and furnishings. Interesting displays and quick displays let you move quickly from room to... More

It's a must place to visit when visiting the Netherlands, especially for history and art lovers. At the entrance we were given a brochure with info for every building and room which was very helpful. Palace is well maintained. In every room there is a detailed information (in Dutch and English) about exhibited objects. I would suggest to allocate a... More

Very well documented with info in each room. Beautiful shop and coffee shop. Take your time! We spent 4 hours there and could easily have stayed twice as long! Beautiful grounds for walking.

It's about €20 to enter. For that you can see the gardens, the palace and the surrounding forest and lakes. The palace Truly is beautiful and interesting as it was still lived in till around the 50's. You can see loads of vehicles still used by the king and the queen today. The gardens are interesting and nice to hang... More

When visiting the museum you first encounter a great collection of royal cars, sleds and carriages. A beautiful collection. After a little stroll you enter the palace where they show you a marvelous collection of furniture, artifacts and paintings from the 16th to the early 20th century. All collected by the Dutch royal family. Behind the castle is one of... More

The (former) palace is open to the public. One can see the bedrooms, sitting rooms and offices of former Kings and Queens of the Netherlands. The stables can be visited too as well as a highly recommended visit to the exhibition of vehicles that were used by the Dutch Royal Family. The gardens are a must-see. The palace offers two...
