"De Hoge Veluwe Nationaal Park" is bigger then you would expect in the middle of the county. You can can easily hike and stroll for several days throughout the park. The easiest way to see most of the park in one day is by using the (free) available white bikes you can find at every entrance. The NP is worth a visit all throughout the year but the best time of course is when the heather is coloring purple while blooming end of August/beginning of September and later that month when deer are starting burling. Entrance fee is a bit pricy but value for money when you count in the bycicle rental.…

It was rainy this day in February, but we did manage to make a 3 hour tour. We used the white bikes for this purpose which was great. We were very impressed by the view and we will do this again coming spring.

Half the experience was biking to these beautiful grounds. The art museum was incredible. I am definitely no art connoisseur but I was knocked out by the Van Gogh collection. Paintings I have always know in front of my eyes with detailed explanations in chronological order. Amazing.…

we came family with 3 children (13, 11, 5) we had agreat biking time on the white bikes the park is very big. the biking wasn't hard (my wife didn't ride for 20 years) the view is special. biking in differents forests, then in the sands... i recomand to make a round tour. take the bikes in the entrance - go until the Kroller - muller museum, but you don't have to go inside - from there ride to Museum Jachthuis Sint Hubertus, eat an ice cream or drink coffee, and from here ride back through the sands to the entrance.…
