Stopped in Sneek for a dinner and was pleasantly surprised. What a cute little place. As far as I read, this is one of the best well preserved watchtowers in the region.

Our family of 6 went shopping at the Aldi (maybe 5 min walking to the water gate), and were amazed to see this beautiful structure! It snuck up on us ;). Worth a visit! Also had Wheelchair & Baby carriage Accessibility. Enjoy!

One of the better kept historic towers in the province of Friesland. They were important when Sneek's people, food and goods traveled a lot over waterways.

You can't miss this when visiting Sneek! It's small but beautiful, especially on a sunny day :) Would have been nice to be able to read some info about it (but that's not there).

We stopped in the little village of snake as we knew that "Gaastra" started up their business here many years ago. It's not much to see, but if you any way drive by, have a look 👀
