Gallery De Roos van Tudor was founded in 1987. The gallery organizes six exhibitions a year. In the summertime the gallery is closed and is guest in the Martinichurch in Franeker. Paintings, sculptures, ceramics and graphics.

Historisch pand. Leuke plek in het stadshart. Bezoekje waard voor de liefhebber. De hele buurt ademt trouwens een prettige sfeer.

Ik ken Anita van Os al ruim 25 jaar, destijds in Franeker en nu dus in Leeuwarden. Erg mooi werk zoekt zij steeds weer uit, steeds wisselend maar een aantal kunstenaars hebben er zo hun vaste plek. Abe Gerlsma is mijn all-time favoriet. Als je van Friesland houdt moet je die gezien hebben. Zijn werk..... want Abe is helaas niet meer onder ons.

hier vind je altijd mooie kunst. dit is een prachtige galerie, fijne sfeer en goed bereikbaar en in een prachtige oude straat in het centrum van de stad.

Een kleine galerie, maar desondanks ruimtelijk opgezet. De geëxposeerde eigentijdse kunst komt daarmee goed tot zijn recht. Vaak exposities van (nog) onbekende kunstenaars, wat een bezoekje juist zo interessant maakt!
