While it's true there could be great depth to the resistance museum it does give a good insight to life under the German invasion. Some harrowing stories as you'd expect of course but overall very good.

In fact, I had expected so many things about this museum, but unfortunately even it is a well organized museum, it just gives a superficial view on Dutch resistance against Nazi Germany. For instance huge strikes and their role against discrimination and sending concentration camps of Jewish people are mentioned very little. Anyway, if you read something about Dutch history... More

Overseas guests often know little about NL during the war and this museum brings it to life. Well worth a visit.

This is part of the Fries museum in Leewarden, which together with the rest proved to be a bit of a disappointment assuming this is the main museum to represent the Friesland province.
