Had a great day here, we rented their bicycles as the park is quite large. First we saw the village where people are recreating how people used to live including straw houses, very gardens etc. Than we did the full circle by bicycle and saw many animals. So many storks with young.
We had coffee and cake in the restaurant. Great day out.

A vast park with walking and cycling paths to see European species such as Bison, Otters, wild pigs, horses and others. As the park is rather big, a decent amount of walking is required but can be done at a leisurely pace. A good day out. Also available is a restaurant but you may bring your own snacks.

A large nature park in the middle of the new made land, hand made, with wide lanes, and narrow trails, meet wild boars and their little babies at less as a meter, Father Davids deer, witness Otters being fed, while a stork is sitting next to you on the fence.
Wild horses, Wisents (European Bison), the Stork Sanctuary.
Or just take a long walk in the forest.
Afterward, visit the exhibition, have dinner in the park restaurant, of have a tour with a boat on the waterways of the park

A vey nice and clean nature parc. A lot of creatures which can be seen, but not the regular zoo creatures. From bisons to boars and from elk to otters and bevers. All can be found during a nice stroll. The whole park can be walked at leisurely pace within 3 hours.
Enough benchens to sit on, a information point with walking routes, information on all the creatures around their enclosures and a playground for children. Some enclosures are open to the public so you can see the creatures up close. Enough to do for a nice afternoon.
No entrance fee, only a parking fee for around €3.

We popped in on recommendation from a local and thought we'd have a wee walk around. A few hours later we left and only because it was getting dark. Loved it. Very big and open and the animals are so at home with their very big living rooms. Only negative was the signs for the animals weren't in English so we weren't sure what we were looking for. But still we had fun looking for the animals from wilder beast to otters. On a lovely day would be great with a picnic and you could spend all day. Only €3.00 for parking so a cheap day out and we loved it.

It's always lovely to walk in the park and see the animals. But there is also the possibility to see art or attend a music festival in the park. there is an exhibition and film where you can see how the park develops througout the year

What a lovely day to get away and walk in nature in a very safe and friendly environment. Seeing the animals is another plus while you walk along the paths. All the paths are marked with how far the path is ( in meters)and what animals you will encounter. You could spend several hours there depending how long you want to walk or bike. Dogs may also come along however, they must be kept on a leash. Do be aware that like any other wooded area if your pet strays off the paths in high grassy areas check for ticks when finished at the end of the day. There is a restaurant on the property and offers a wide variety of food and drinks. (Check for opening times .You may also bring food and have a picnic on the grounds. There is a small play area for children. The reception area has toilets and a small gift shop. There are wheel chairs that can be used by visitors in need. They are provided free of charge and are located in the parking lot.You can also rent bikes at the visitors center, You can also rent bikes at the visitors There is no charge for the visit but there is a small charge for parking. At the entrance to the visitors center you can print a map of the routes that are available. You can customize this to your own liking and then print it out. There are several areas that have animals but the bison are very interesting and you can get up close and personal if they are grazing near the fence,

Beautiful place to visit. A few picnic benches here and there if you pack a lunch or visit their restaurant along the water. View the animals, view the scenery and just relax.

Such a lovely place. You pay €3 to park and then you can wander around the park. The water areas are stunning. We saw some animals and enjoyed the art instillations. It’s a must see if you are in the area. The cafe looked nice but I didn’t eat there

Where can I find information in English about the park? I visited thirty years ago, and am considering another visit.

The information is sketchy tho. Only gives address and opening times. What would you like to know exactly? That is if the question is still valid :-)
