The Sanctury is doing an incredible job of rescuing big cats and rehabilitating them from thr most awful conditions they were in in zoos and circuses. Whilst we were there 3 lions arrived who had only ever been in concrete cages and it was heartbreaking...More

Mind blown by the idea to provide refuge and sanctuary to cats born in captivity. Your heart bleeds to know that the animals will never see life in the wild and that they will never hunt and kill the abundant prey roaming the sanctuary. The...More

I did two game drives through the sanctuary. Wow, the time and trouble the staff take to ensure that these animals live out their lives peacefully and happy is outstanding. The animals look stunning. The tour guide, Donald, was extremely knowledgeable about all the animals,...More

LionsRock is a wonderful initiative by FourPaws where previously abused and mistreated big cats are rescued from international zoos, circuses and private owners. The game drive is informative and we were spoiled with some gorgeous lions and tigers that made their appearance.

Hi! A weekend stay should be okay for a child, however it obviously depends on the child. This is more of a reserve than a fun-park. There is a jungle gym at the restaurant but we have not really explored much further... More
