Heidiland and Liechtenstein Tour from Zurich: Two Countries in One Day

999 reviews
If you want to visit "Heidiland" but don’t know the best way to get there, this day trip from Zurich is the ticket. You’ll visit the village of Maienfeld, where the beloved Heidi books were set, and spend time in Zurich and Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, too. It’s the perfect way to learn the region’s history and culture while following in the footsteps of Heidi in the Swiss mountains.

I enjoyed the display of the shirts of all FIFA members, the history of the World Cup and the exhibit on referees. At the end of the museum tour, there is a nice gift shop. I went there to buy some souvenirs for gifts and Manuela took time to show me the shop.

Jun 21: My nephew is a big Chelsea fan and one of the top things for him during our vacation was to visit the FIFA museum. This place unlike the Olympic musuem is in a glass building and spread over few floors. Amazing to see the different jerseys of nations, walls about the WCs and history of each WC, the wall of stamps.

Very well-detailed history of Football aided with multimedia display and original artifacts like trophies and various other sorts of memorabilia from almost type of footballing events(World cups to local league cups) There is a play area for kids of varying ages to try their footballing skills. There are thematic exhibitions taking place almost all through the year with themes like - "World Cup", "Football in the Arab World, Ballon Dor etc.. which are informative, well presented and impressive If you like the sports of Football/Soccer, it would be a couple of hours we’ll spent at FIFA museum.

I thought it was a bit light on memorabilia and artefacts. Great interaction stuff for younger kids but a bit of a struggle for my teenager.

Great museum with lots of one of a kind memorabilia. Also displayed the World Cup trophies for men and women. Not too pricy.
