Heidiland and Liechtenstein Tour from Zurich: Two Countries in One Day

1,000 reviews
If you want to visit "Heidiland" but don’t know the best way to get there, this day trip from Zurich is the ticket. You’ll visit the village of Maienfeld, where the beloved Heidi books were set, and spend time in Zurich and Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, too. It’s the perfect way to learn the region’s history and culture while following in the footsteps of Heidi in the Swiss mountains.

Amthaus is a complex of civic buildings on the left bank of the Limmat, north of the Lindenhof. It is connected to the building that houses the Giacometti paintings but it is the other buildings as I understand the description. Another building to enjoy as you walk the city.
