Nice park to go for a jogging or a nap. Lovely lake. There is a ASVZ (students sports facilities) inside the park and a nice restaurant / bistro.

A secluded and peaceful park
Jul 2015 • Solo
This expansive park surrounds the University Irchel and can be accessed with numerous public transit options. The park is very nice for those needing/wanting to get in some exercise. There are tennis courts, a sports field, stretching and pull-up bars, walking/jogging/doggie trails. The park is popular for these trails as many parts of it are covered with shaded trees. There are benches located around the park to enjoy the views. A restaurant is located within the park and there are restroom facilities in most of the campus buildings.

Currently (July 2015), the large pond in the center of the park is undergoing a major renovation, so some areas surrounding the pond are closed, but still the shaded edges of the park are very nice for a nice walk or jog. The park is most stunning in the fall with all the tree leaves turning colors around the pond as a backdrop.

Small but very nice park
Jun 2015 • Solo
This small but nice park is built on a slope and has hilly terrain, ponds and water and wooded parts, and it is cleverly designed so that when you're in you may forget the city around. It consists of two parts: the Irchel park proper, lying lower, smaller and merrily decorated with water, and - separated by a stretch of motorway but joined by wide overpasses - a larger park area uphill, which hosts the campus of the Zurich University. The latter in beautifully decorated and well integrated in the larger park section. Lots of trails for running, hiking, biking, too. Yes, a few hours here are well spent.
