think thieves market and you have something like that in Switzerland. There are over a hundred stalls set on a park, where people bring their bric a brac to sell. you can find many things, from old records, old instruments to second hand clothes, toys, linen, cups, swiss army knives etc. the atmosphere is laid back and a playground is just beside it, so you can keep your kids busy while you do your shopping. not exactly for the OCD people, but if you like a taste of heartland, you can catch a glimpse of how Switzerland actually is with the blend in of people from other origins

Very busy fleamarket that takes place literally every Saturday from 7.30 in the morning, except Christmas Day, May 1 and New Years, if I get it right. Up to 200 stalls, you'll find anything there.

I made my first venture to the Flohmart Kanzlei. Wow, it’s a whole lotta’ people in a small place. Located across the street from Helvetiaplatz, this weekly Saturday market is a bustlin’ paradise for buyers and sellers. One can find clothes, shoes, household/kitchen goods, games/toys, books and more. A bargain is sure to be found if you are in the market! There is a kiosk selling food and beverages in the corner near the Xenix theatre. Certainly worth a visit if you like second hand items for an exceptional deal.
