We had a great time during our tour. Our guide, Esther, was awesome! She was very knowledgeable of the history of the city and explained everything with lots of details. It was a pleasure to learn so much about Zurich in the two hours the tour takes, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to learn a little bit more about the city. Of course, being a free tour means you don’t need to pay a fee, but it’s really recommended to leave a good tip to the guide. They will always appreciate it, especially when they make these two hours run by so fast with the amount of interesting information you get during that time.

Enjoyable morning saunter through old town Zurich. Tour commenced promptly at 11am. Takes in major sights with great explanations of the history and cultural make-up of Switzerland. Do wrap up at this time of year, at -1o along the old cobbled alleys, it can get pretty cold.

We attended the 11 o'clock Downtown Zurich tour in english with Joseph. He gave us lots of interesting anegdotes about the city and its history, as well as some tips as for where to eat in the city. I think the trip covers the essentials in the centre and I would recommend it to everyone visiting Zurich for the first time.

I went on a walking tour of Zurich in Spanish with Daniel and I learnt a lot and found the tour very entertaining. Daniel made the experience fun and was open to questions and to give extra info and tips of places to visit after the tour. I very much recommend this tour to get an overview of the main sites of the city and historical information.

My husband and I, along with dear friends of ours from Maryland, spent last Friday morning with Josef, our tour guide.from FWZ. Our interest was in learning more about the Jewish history of Zurich, and Switzerland in general, and Josef was the perfect resource! He had extensive knowledge of Jewish life, both past and present, his english was impeccable, and he was warm and engaging. I highly recommend him for anyone interested in learning more about Jewish life in Zurich, as well as general history of the city. We have traveled extensively, and often hire a guide whose focus is on the Jewish history of whichever city we are in. Josef was a real standout!

My fiancée and I had a truly wonderful tour courtesy of Patrick!
The tours were well organised at the start point, everyone was made to feel welcome and was pointed to the relevant language guide for the particular tour.
We, along with a really pleasant bunch joined Patrick to learn about Swiss culture, history and much much more!
I am a professional guide myself with over 14 years experience guiding round Europe and I must say that I really enjoyed myself!
If you are going to go on one of these excellent tours, tip your guide 20CHF pp, you are reflecting their knowledge and experience.
I am looking forward to their other tours now!

Staying in Zurich for a few days, we wanted to get a look at this city and it's place in Europe.

We met our guide Julian (Sorry if name is wrong!) at Parade Platz where he explained about the tour. We walked around for around 2 hours looking at many sights, mostly in the 'Allstad' part of town. Zurich is a city of contrasts between old and new and it's a very peaceful place especially for a city. The day we took the tour, the silence was broken by many sirens as there was an accident which a car landed in the river Limmat. We were told about Swiss politics/recycling/banking and general life as a citizen in this beautiful country.

Zurich is a town of many contrasts, but is definitely worth a look on your travels. Just remember your pennies as it's not cheap, but there are bargains to be found like eating at the Coop on Bahnhofstrasse, the most expensive shopping street in Europe. This was recommended by Julian by the way...

Our guide Ari was very good. He explained some unique things about the city that I will actually remember and have already told friends. He also encouraged us to talk to each other, which no other guide ever did. He was well prepared and well informed.

We did the downtown tour with Emre and it was fantastic. A great taster of Zurich's history and culture. Emre was super knowledgeable, told interesting stories and kept a really large group engaged for the whole tour. He even timed it perfectly to end as the rain arrived! I'd highly recommend this tour and Emre as a wonderful guide

If you like to talk photos of colourful street art, whilst walking and discovering different areas of Zurich, this is an excellent walking tour. Our guide, Peter, was very knowledgeable and gave lots of interesting information. Really enjoyed the 2 hours spent on this tour.
