For more chocolate head to the famous Sprungli chocolate shop – you can find them all over Switzerland, but there is one conveniently located in the train station in Zurich – great for grabbing a deliciously cream and rich hot chocolate as you catch a train to explore another part of the country. Make sure to get whip cream!

Went on a Saturday afternoon, so the cafe had been crowded. Organization of incoming guests were poor. Some were queueing, some just went directly to an emptying table. After a while one waitress just told us to help ourselves. Service at the table then werde prompt. Had the famous hot chocolate which was good but not more. Had the Matterhorn... More

This is Switzerland's holy shrine of chocolate and the best part is you can eat the icons. The store has case after case of gorgeous sweets that are made daily. The pralines and truffles are divine. They make the lightest, crunchiest, tastiest macarons I've ever tasted outside of Paris. They have a vast array of flavors and they are very... More

Coffee and pastry shop in Zürich's downtown along the fashionable Bahnhof Street. Really nice selection of chocolates and macaroons. The place has table service as well as take away. They also serve salads and snacks but their macaroons and chocolate cakes are the best!

If no space on ground floor go upstairs. Service is somewhat slow and confusing, but worth the wait. Delicious hot chocolate... mmmh and great (looking and tasting) pastries. On your way out stock up on sweet gifts.

Gorgeous chocolate shop. Very well known for its fine and exquisite truffles and chocolate bars. You can also find patisserie, macaroons and more.

The most delicious macaron and deserts you can eat at Sprüngli. You can literally find a branch everywhere. Also you have the option to select some sandwiches and fresh juices, but don't forget to try the lovely mille feuille and eclaire au chocolat. When you start you cant stop. Be aware of eating it all at once... it's a pure... More

Few days ago sit down in Sprüngli and had best hot chocolate in my life. Absolutely stunning cafe, very old fashioned in Wien style, where you can actually sit down and read a newspaper. Pure love!
