Best chocolate store ever!
Wow, what can I say I’m a chocoholic and I’ve been to some of the best chocolatiers in the whole world. But when I saw the selection they had in the store, I felt it was the best selection I’ve ever seen. And it was such a thrill to be at such a prestigious chocolatier as they’ve been around for so long. The coolest thing is is instead of putting all my chocolates into a box. She layered these cellophane sheets between so they wouldn’t be all in a jumbled mess. I’ve never had anywhere do that before. Please go here you won’t be disappointed.

Love it! Best chocolate place in the city
Sprüngli is the "go-to" place for quality and elegant chocolate. I recommend both cafe and store. In the cafe drinks, cakes, macaroons are all delicious and nicely served. The prices are fair for quality and location. Service is professional, fast, friendly. All products in store are also top. You just cant go wrong with Sprüngli chocolate!

Wonderful cafe
We went there with the family, the place was full, they took good care for our child 5 years old, o ordered cappuccino and they brought a small cup of milk free of charge topped with chocolate chips, our girl was so thrilled. They brought a coloring book for her as well. The food and presentation were so great. You must try the waffles and the chocolate cake

It was very crowded. I assume that this one is a well known confectionery in Zurich, pretty much popular among the locals and they exactly know what’s best in here. For us it was all new and the store was so crowded, we couldn’t discuss about what’s famous here with the lady at the counter. She just doesn’t seem to have enough time to listen to me. We simply settled with their hot chocolate frappe. It was good no doubt but everything here burns a hole in the pocket. The pastries looked awesome. But they were all very very expensive.

It's losing its elegance and quality service

It's a family tradition to have afternoon cafe creme and a pastry that i had missed for over a decade. I had returned to Zurich a few times in the past five years and have always enjoyed reliving this experience expect this time. Service was slow and almost non existent, the coffee was cold and the place has lost its elegance allowing in loud and insulting customers fighting over tables and lines. It wasn't really bad and I would still go back but not as top of my list of must dos anymore.

I wanted to have my lunch really fast and go. In the cafeteria they had only three sandwiches and no information about them. Through the inner door in this exact cafeteria I could see one more sprüngli shop with a wider assortment - why not buy there and eat outside? No. Because you can't. If you haven't taken the menu in the cafeteria, haven't ordered food only inside this part of sprüngli - you can't sit at the cafeteria tables! Even outside in November. Even if four out of five are free. Btw, the cafeteria didn't have sandwiches because they already sold them out. I can understand the problem with taxes (the cafeteria and the shop are two different places), but what could happen to your table, if I have sat at it for 3 minutes?! With a sprüngli sandwich! Absurd and nonsense...

Lovely vol-au-vent for lunch

A sunny lunchtime vol-au-vent at Sprüngli on Paradeplatz is a real treat and it doesn’t even break the bank. It is a really healthy portion, not a given in all Swiss restaurants, and filled with lots of tasty sausage and mushroom. Their homemade ice tea is perfect accompaniment before some luxemburgerli for dessert.

Should go there for Sunday Brunch

Should try this Sunday brunch there.
Good service, helpful staff! Impressing!!
Delicious and many choices from the brunch menu.
Reminder, need to book table online from their website because many people will go there for the brunch
Honestly, the price is reasonable for the good service and fantastic food and drink.
I definitely will go there again for next time I visit Zurich

I did have lunch at the Café Sprüngli. The place is usually overcrowded. Staff is helpful and kind. I did ask a waiter at the cashier, if they were serving Eggs Benedict, he was not aware or did not know if they were on the menu (!). The Eggs Benedict were served cold (!). The waitress offered to have them taken back to the kitchen, - I declined as I had already waited for quite a while to be served. Overall, the place is clearly overpriced. The atmosphere is nice and it reminds me of the good old times.

Great cafe and chocolate

This is a large cafe right on Bahnhofstrasse. Attached is also a Sprungli chocolatier. The food and coffee here are great especially the desserts. The attached shop has a huge variety of chocolates and other sweets to buy. Great for people watching on the bahnhofstrasse and buying chocolate.
