Cross this botanical garden off your list of to-do's while in Zurich. It's out of the way and not worth the time. I love nature and flowers but somehow this garden missed its mark.

Amazing place to visit for people who want to see different plants - the range of plants in the garden is good to keep you engrossed for couple of hours

The gardens are free of charge and since we had one hour we dropped by and did not disappointed. The park is nice and welcome and the tropical houses we very interesting but there are no explabation in English which is very disappointing. The toilet had no soap to wash hands, untypical to Switzerland...

Whilst the three domes hold the major attractions the balance of the gardens are badly overrun with weeds, something many of us can see at home ??

We spent a couple hours visiting the tropical domes and walking around the gorgeous grounds (lot of hills, wear good shoes). Unfortunately, many of the information cards are not in English and are too technical for a basic German speaker. There is a small café.

When you're bored with walking by the lake, this might be the next best thing. A pleasant way to kill an hour or two.

I was there a few days ago and it is great to walk around at different stages of growth in the gardens. I go there every few weeks and it is great.

The botanical garden is located in a nice residential area of Zurich. It has two main buildings/greenhouses, which are lush with orchids and tropical plants.

Spring has finally sprung here in Zurich & whilst the blossom trees are a stunning sight in the streets of Zurich, these gardens (which have been extensively replanted in recent times & therefore not nearly developed enough to either identify much, nor indeed admire). However it is a lovely spot if you have time on your hands & aren't far... More
