Worth the five Swiss francs to get in to see the stains glass designed by Marc Chagall. Really nice church that was once part of a convent.

The church is actually very old and has a lot of history attached to it, but it was so often transformed and restored that hardly a stone remains from the Middle Age. The cloister was demolished and then rebuilt in the the 20th Century (still...More

Went here with my father, came here 10 min before closing, and they let us in for free. The windows by Mark Chagall and Alberto Giacometti were amazing, and church overall was amazing. Would return 100 percent.

Fraumunster is a Zurich landmark situated right along the Limmat. The church itself is beautiful but the stained glass windows by Marc Chagall are the real draw.

This pretty little church is lovely. Of course it helps to have windows behind the altar by Marc Chagall. We didn’t go for services, just to look around. Underneath the altar is an old section that shows original excavation and other historic bits about the...More

This is definitely a major part of the landscape of Limmat. The green copper roof, and the design gives this place plenty of charm!

Most people visit here to see the Chagall windows, there is a charge to enter and photos are not allowed though you can buy merchandise. A pleasant enough Church you can find contemplation in.

You can take a train from Zurich Airport to Bahnhof ( Central Train Station), will take about 30min, then it’s a short walk or 2 -3 team stops
