They have an excellent choice. Overall the goods are of high quality. When it comes to staff, some of them are really qualified, kind and service-oriented, others, I am afraid, lack these qualities, which makes shopping, given the prices, a real challenge. I will give it another go though.

I've been a long term customer of Jelmoli's. And you pretty much always find what you're looking for. If not, most of the employees are friendly enough to look the item up and see if they can order it for you. Else, they have good recommendations. Some of the staff have a bit of an elitist vibe, ignore that/them and go for the younger ones. Some stores are really crowded. Absolutely love the food department! You'll find many international specialties, you don't usually find in Swiss stores. Prices tend to be higher than in other stores. But you pay for the service and location.
