This is a small but beautiful private collection of mostly 20th century art housed in an impressive and complimentary space. On a grey windswept day we were just three of a handful of other guests so it felt like a private viewing.

We took the beautiful woodland walk up to Bruderhaus and were really impressed with the place. The wolves are awesome to see especially and the whole area is very well kept. Absolutely fantastic that there is no entry charge. There is a shop if you want to buy refreshments and there is plenty of free parking available if you don't... More

This place is amazing!! Beautiful building(s), garden and fantastic art and furniture. Way bigger than it looks from the outside and totally uncrowded. Really enjoyed this venue and wish more were this size.

An outstanding small collection of art within a beautiful villa overlooking Winterthur. Relaxing, quiet and a truly must see experience. The cafe is also well worth a visit offering a small selection of freshly prepared meals, cakes & coffee and wines & spirits.

Set in an impressive stone mansion on a hillside above town, this art gallery houses an outstanding collection of European classic and impressionist portraits, landscapes and still-lifes. The selection of impressionist works is the best I have seen outside France. Picking favourites was difficult, but mine were Goya's Salmon Steaks, Monet's Broken Ice on the Seine and a very lively... A wonderful collection of art located in a beautifull villa surrounded by a statues garden. A must see in Winterthur. Also good for kids who get an extra prize if they find a specific painting and answer some questions about it. The cafeteria is also worth a visit, and the nearby forest makes this a great day trip.
