Apparently on the surface, this institution lacks passion, love and tenderness. The notes provided at the door on the current Nadas exhibition aim at poetics but the point of the exhibition is lost on anyone else save for perhaps a small, insider group of museum...More

Zug has its share of wonders and this would be one among them. The Kunsthaus has an amazing collection of pictures that you wouldn't normally see elsewhere but it make for a great way to spend time... if you are an art aficionado.

We thaught that this could be a good rainy day activity. Don't go with children, that place is not kids friendly at all (our daughter was 9 as we have visited it)

Zug is a thriving place, with an educated population and quite a number of art collectors. It is really a pity that its main art museum is dominated by people without much of a vision. Not worth a visit.

Yes, it is a museum, with very interesting exhibitions, but we went there primarily to find a place for lunch that might serve light and fresh dishes, to have a break from all the rich cheese and meaty stuff you get in traditional Swiss restaurants....More
