This was a real deep dive in Queen´s and in particular Freddie Mercury´s history. The band recorded seven Albums in this studio and you can sit in the original Control Room and even mix the lead voice with the other instruments. The last Freddie´s song he ever recorded was "Mother Love" and he was singing in the tiny Control Room of the Studios. You can mix this song and also "Made in Heaven". However, the original NEVE Mixer was unfortunately replaced with a plastic version of it. I think they should have kept the original mixer and sealed it to prevent visitors to touch it. Many costumes and instruments used by Queen in many concerts (including Live Aid) are also part of the museum. Roger Taylor and Brian May provide good explanations via video recording. You should not miss visiting the Queen Studio Experience!

So much history in such a small part of the world. Very fortunate to have experienced this. Thank you for keeping it alive.

We came to Montreux this weekend to visit the Queen Studio Experience because their website says it is NOW OPEN. Well, it is NOT. Very disappointing... how difficult is it to update their website with correct information!!

We were on a tour in Switzerland and Montreux was one of our stops for 2 nights. Another person on our tour recommended the Queen Studio Experience after gone the night before. I am so glad we took the time to find it. And yes, it is in an odd place...inside a Casino. Go straight in the front door and turn left and follow the trail of memorabilia to the exhibit. Though it is free a donation is suggested. Great collection of costumes, hand written lyrics, and other items. Sit for a while and watch the film that plays on a loop. And definitely don't miss playing with the mixing board. That was incredibly fun. If you find yourself anywhere within driving distance of Montreux it is worth a stop to see the Freddy Mercury statue down on the lakefront and then into the casino for the exhibit. Great place to visit.

A collection of memorabilia from Queen and Freddie Mercury, this is a must for any Queen fan. Housed in the Casino, we did have a little problem finding it, but trust me, it exists. The free entry was an added bonus. Queen had recorded at a Studio here in Montreaux, so to have this museum here is very apt. The costumes, letters and memorabilia were great and I learnt a lot about Freddie and the band.
