I loved this city in Switzerland. The scenery there is breathtaking, you could walk by the lake and see the Mont Blanc from there. In xmas time they had a xmas market which was very nice, and you can take a bus to visit the Chillon Castle

This is a nice walk to the old town and it is quiet interesting as you are in the montains - the motorway is on the top of your head - very nicely done and also quiet scary if you are living here

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Take your time and wander the cobbled streets, watch and listen to the buskers, take a coffee al fresco. It is just so lovely and enjoyable.

The Old Town area is not as popular with tourists as the lakeside promenade, probably because it sits along the side and at the top of a rather steep hill. If you have time, however, do venture up that way! The old buildings are full...More
