From the Rochers-de-Naye, towering at an altitude of 2,042 meters, you can enjoy an amazing view on the lake and the mountains. Get to this peace of heaven with the cog railway leaving from Montreux. Great places even without snow

Beautiful scenes, nice Mountains for biking or hiking and especially for skiing. Nice place with great views at the top, even in October.

Loved the entire experience. I am a bit scared of heights but I do like to push myself and it was well worth it. The views at the top were incredible! Had fondue and wine and watched the preparation of some hand gliders prepare to jump - mad, in my humble opinion!! There is a restaurant through, yes through the... More

We decided to drive by car.. I would not recommend driving. The road is very narrow and it is very scary. The view is STUNNING, but choose the train instead. Much, much more safe!

Took the train up here and enjoyed every minute of the visit. The views on the way up are great and when you get up the scenary is amazing. They also have Marmots up there and they are cool animals. Make sure to check out the alpine gardens as well.

Fantastic views during the the voyage up and back. There is a quite nice restaurant on the top good to have a light meal while waiting for the next train.

nice lonf walk, make sure you have comfortable shoes and its not on a hot day as the last part of the walk is on the open road which may get hot and exhausting in summer

The train trip from Montreux is very overpriced. If you'd like to do some nice easy hiking as well (we went with our 4 year old), drive and park at Col de Jaman. Take the ~50 min hike to Paccote and take the train up to Rochers de Naye from there. Views at the top are great-spend an hour or... More

I thoroughly recommend this trip as it offers scenic splendour only an hour from Montreux 6500 feet up in the mountains. The trip up is wonderful via the scenis railway.

Fresh air, hill walk and nice scenery. The fondue is also nice in the restaurant. I went there in September, thus there is no snow. I think it will be a good ski site with smooth hillside. There are lots of people with hillwalk gear enjoying their hillwalk in groups. There are few animals around. Though there are no flowers... More

I always love visiting this very high destination that is within an hour of the Montreux waterfront by train. The Marmots are fantastic and the alpine flower garden is not to be missed. Once you get there go on a summit walk, view the yurts and marmots or take a bigger walk if you like. There are two restaurants and... More
