The rack railway takes about 50 minutes to wind its way up the mountain side. The views are amazing from the train if you sit one side going up, then sit on the other going back down to get the different views. Once you get though the cloud it is amazing what mountains you can see. Once at the top... More

We went to visit Father Christmas on the Cog railway and the views along the way were breath taking. We took tons of pictures along the way and near the top we saw snow. Once the train stopped the kids enjoyed playing in the snow and i enjoyed the magnificient views.

Our trip to Rochers de Naye was, by far, my favorite part of our stay in Montreux!! We went in December so our kids could visit Santa in his grotto, but the real treasure was the breath-taking view! We hiked to the very top of the platform station and OMG! It seemed like we were on the top of the... More

After a very nice but uneventful ride (50) minutes, with great views until you reach the clouds (was sunny in Montreux, so we didn't know), we reached the summit. Walked down a very boring corridor to a small room with a Santa. Less festive and decorated than a "Mall" Santa. Nothing much else at the summit and a very long... More

After a 50 minute train ride, with great views until you are up into the clouds (on a cloudy day), you reach the top. And then walk down a boring long hallway until you reach a small room with Santa, less festive than a "mall Santa" display. Anti-climactic and disappointing considering the cost.

We visited on Christmas Eve and the views were breathe taking. Our hotel gave us a discount card so we paid half price for the train ride. Very worth it

It was a bit of a rush getting on the train to get a seat as it was Very busy, but all families seemed to get seated mostly together. The santa visit was execellent, my advice get... More

Now I will admit that we were one of the few groups that visited in mid-December without children but we absolutely loved our trip up to Rochers-de-Naye and our short time at the top. The train journey from platform 8 at Montreux station took approximately 45 minutes to ascend and there are some magical photo opportunities on the way as... More

We had overall a very good time visiting Santa's House up in Rochers de Naye. Santa looks awesome, takes the time to open and read my daughter's letter, the house and the tunnel leading to it are well decorated, the views are amazing. Now, there are a number of issues worth mentioning. First, queuing is not well organized up there,... More

Very easy to get to with just a train ride from Montreux. Kids will surely enjoy as they get to meet Santa... have a small chat with him and get a present too!!! Had hot chocolate up there and it was divine! Also had some face painting done for the complete experience. Plus the mountain view when you are outside... More
