The cathedrale is one of many. It delivers the same experience as if you were to visit a similar style cathedrale. The view, however is very nice. You can see all over Lausanne from the look-out.

Very impressive cathedral, didn't get to see as much as we would have liked, there was an orchestra playing when we visited. We listened to them for a while but didn't want to walk around and be a distraction, but what we did see was...More

The cathedral itself is lovely, but it's really worth paying to go to the top (you do have to climb a few stairs). The views over Lausanne are beautiful.

Beautiful gothic cathedral. Fantastic stained glass windows. Was really big inside. We also saw the christmas exhibition with the lovely models.

There many ways to reach this wonderful cathedral (Escaliers du Marche, Pont Charles Bessieres…), but from all points it looks equally beautiful and harmonic. Actually, one can spend the whole day there, looking at it’s statues, decorations and glass windows. And the view over the...More

The history and gob smacking lead lighting and architecture make this one of the most interesting cathedral finds of my holiday. I went to Notre Dame, Milan's Duomo and San Marco's et al in Venice and this certainly was special.

I have great recollection of the area surrounding this church. The church itself blends in with the many others I have seen in my life. I don't regret making the climb to the church from my hotel, and it is significantly uphill from where I...More

I had wanted to see this building for a long time. It is a centre for reform/protestant worship and is world famous. Inside is the large and very imposing Fisk organ. We enjoyed Sunday morning worship in the church (all spoken in French which we...More
