It was a matter of luck. One I liked, the other was OK. There is a good shop with specialist books. The setting is marvellous. You can easily walk through... More

The international accepted Musee de lÈlysee is one of the most important museums, which is prescribed completely the world of photography. The museum has a unique collection of over 100000 photographies and a lot of archives of photos specially those from Charly Chaplin.

Small, intimate setting. Like touring through a home with small rooms. Great displays. Nice cafe nearby. Wonderful way to spend half a day.

This museum is all about photography and depending on when you visit, they have some temporary exhibits alongside the permanent ones. If you are one of those that love your DSLR and know more than just taking selfies, this is the museum to visit in Lausanne. FREE with the Swiss Pass.

Amazing museum, only 4 francs for students. The collections were great and they showed a variety of artists. Also a beautiful view

I visited this place regarding the review in Google. It was free in Saturday 2nd April. I don't understand what is this placebecause I did not see any english reference. I saw just photos so it is good for photography. It is very close from Olympic museum just 5 min. Walking

It was free since it was the first saturday of the month, when I visited. There were photos of this Swiss phtographer Werner Bischof. Black and White photos I think are always interesting. And there are many photographers out there I am sure would exhibit better ones. I didn't really understand what was so special about him.

There was nothing in the English language beside any of the exhibits in this building. The was subtitles accompanying a video that was being shown in here.
