Beautiful view of Lausanne

from this tower you will have a beautiful view of Lausanne and arounds. You will have a lot of stairs to climb but the final result is really cool.

you climb up this wooden tower on a very interesting staircase. It is free and you can enjoy beautiful views of the lake, lausanne and the surroundings. Make sure weather is nice though...

The Sauvabelin Tower is undergoing repairs from April to July 29, 2016. The lake is also empty, undergoing some reconstruction activity. The large wooded park is still a pleasant outing, easy to get to, take the #16 bus from Ste Francois stop above the train station.

not hard to do and to go and see... Have a try.... it is free and make exercises ! it offers a 360° view on Lausanne and its surrounding. It is next to a nice park and lake where oyu can also have a typical swiss lunch or dinner.

Not to be missed if you dare to walk all the way up to the observation deck. Yes! No elevator. But it will be worth your while. The tower itself is located in the middle of a wood in the north of Lausanne. The bus number 16 will take you there and you will need to walk about 5 minutes... More

Was there yesterday, and the tower is still closed. Repairs were ongoing. Shame, can imagine the views would be great from the top so will go back another time. Even so, it's a pretty impressive structure to come across in the middle of the forest.

A must visit in the region. The Tower provides a full view over Lausanne, and is located in the middle of the nature. You could from there makes some trek nearby.

We decided to have a nice walk throw the forest, and we checked if any attraction where around, it comes up with this tower, we checked on line prises and timetable, (in this case free).. Amazing!!! But unfortunately was close because of refurbishment, it's absolutely crazy to don't warning people on the web site about that, as you need to... More

In the middle of a nice countryside park area. Can have a nice stroll in the park even if you don't go up this - however, very nice views of Lausanne / lake Geneva from the top. Free to enter, but it's quite a lot of steps. Best public transport route is via the Metro to the edge of the... More
